The Old Museum is a detached self-contained holiday home in the historic and picturesque village of Castle Combe. The Manor House Golf Club and Castle Combe Circuit are both within in walking distance and the footpath opposite connects up with a series of walks across the land of the Castle Combe Estate and beyond. In a tranquil country setting near the river Marden. Ideal location to visit the market town of Chippenham and 13 miles from the City of Bath. Medieval villages of Lacock, Castle Combe, and Avebury are nearby. Sustrans national cycle track is in walking distance with great routes for walkers, runners and cyclists. Bowood House and Gardens are 1 mile away. The Chapel has one bedroom and the lounge is upstairs which has a pull out double sofa bed . Stunning sunsets and views over fields.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.
