Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Susquehanna River

Stayed here for the weekend with a couple of friends. Place was absolutely beautiful and would definitely come again.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

This beautiful house in the woods was even better than expected - incredibly private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We loved just relaxing to the sounds of the nearby creek and playing music on the vinyl player - such a special touch. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. It’s also not far from Minnewaska State Park, which made hiking super convenient. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’d love to come back!

Tom and Carol’s place is top-notch! It’s rare to find a getaway spot that’s both tucked away in a pristine natural setting and which contains all the modern amenities one could ask for. To top it off, Tom’s artwork and sculptures beautifully adorn the property, which makes the apartment and its location feel like there’s a little magic around every corner. Tom and Carol are fantastic hosts; we felt right at home upon arrival. The small towns nearby also had some great restaurants with a welcoming vibe and friendly folks to boot!

Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

We had a great time at the school house! I met Adam, and he was very friendly! Great spot, we had a blast! 100% would recommend!

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

Patrick’s place had everything my wife and I needed to make us feel comfortable during our 3 day stay. This house really is secluded. I had to drive on dirt and rock roads thru farmland to get to it and there were no other houses in sight. This is the perfect place if you’re looking to enjoy some peace and quiet and make some s’mores (which were provided by Patrick!) on the campfire. A little tip — bring some bug spray to fully enjoy the outside. We weren’t able to use the star gazing bubble due the uncooperative weather but the sunrise and sunset views were beautiful. Plus my wife was happy to be greeted by a family of 3 bunnies everyday. Most stores, restaurants, breweries, hiking trails, etc. are about a 10-40 min drive from the house depending where you go. I highly suggest taking the drive to Ricketts Glen State Park and hiking the amazing waterfall trails there. I would definitely recommend Patrick’s hideaway house if you need a peaceful getaway and a change of scenery.

Stephanie and her husband were incredibly friendly and kind-hearted, I absolutely loved them! Their home is beautiful, surrounded by nature and so peaceful. My friends and I really enjoyed hiking the nearby trails and watching the sunsets (along with the cows, which were such a fun surprise!). It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful location and place. We loved our stay

This was my second stay here- just as peaceful, clean and comfortable as the first! Spacious “in-law” quarters with all the necessities and a nice touch of extras like a stocked coffee station with Keurig brewer, countertop convection/air fryer oven, and electric fireplace. The apartment’s cleanliness and neatness is a standout. Great communicaton from the host as well.

Wow! This place was perfect for our mountain hiking adventure weekend. We chose it because it had ample space, a kitchen and was near several of the parks we had looked into but what we got was so much more. The instructions were meticulous like every other detail of the space and was easy to follow for us who are from out of town. The space gave us and our teen nephew plenty of space to prepare and rest around our 8-mile outstanding hike at Ricketts Glenn Park. We hiked past more than 30 breathtaking waterfalls. We prepared our breakfasts and snacks in the fully equipped kitchen and slept like babies in the comfy bed. Each detail was considered, gently communicated and orderly. We are frequent travelers and this place stood out. We hope to be back soon.

Modern, beautifully decorated unit with great privacy. Views are amazing, so wide, expansive and peaceful. You can watch sunrise and sunset from the balcony! You can see people passing on the side street in their horse and buggies. The outdoor seats are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable too. Matt is a phenomenal host, his response time is super quick, he is very helpful and accommodating.

Definitely a space with great level of thoughts and details makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Surrounded by the nature, you can immerse yourself in the beautiful mountain view and bird chirps, very peaceful and tranquil. We saw deers walking by, rabbit hiding in bush from raining, and a little chipmunk busy around the house all the time. Thanks Katey for sharing her beautiful home and being a great host, super responsive and provides lots of useful information. We had an amazing time!

They were not kidding when they named this bambis haven because we were able to get up close and personal with deers all over and even got to get friendly with the homes kitties.

We love this place, it was quiet, cozy, no parking issues. Not recommended for older people or people with limited mobility due to three flights of stairs to reach the place. Esther was quick to respond and very helpful. We will definitely stay at her place again!

Amazing plaice. If you are looking for a place fulfilled with serenity, joy and nature, this is a place to go. The house made with love, clean and big. The creek and sounds of water with the fire pit meditative. The hot jacuzzi on the creek is relaxing and fun. The owners are nice people, very orginized and quickly responding to any conserns you migjt have. Walks on the nature is available. We will be back!!! Thank you James and Erene!!

The hosts were super on top of making sure we were taken care of, while also giving us our space and privacy for the whole stay. They were beyond friendly. When I broke the french press coffee beaker, without me asking they took the effort to still make sure I could get coffee and dropped a new french press off the next day! That really stood out. Also just a beautiful location, extremely well documented directions, great hiking and restaurant tips. You can constantly see and hear the waterfall from the window. Just great!

The Hideout was such an amazing place to stay and the A Frame was exactly what we were hoping for. It had everything we needed and Samantha was very communicative the whole time. A perfect weekend with the toddler and the dog!

Beautiful location, tucked back in the woods and adjacent to a beautiful stream. The hot tub was awesome as well! We were able to fit our son’s pack and play in there next to the bed and we all slept great! The host was great and super helpful!

Our stay at Creekside Cabin was peaceful and relaxing. The back deck overlooking the creek was a lovely spot to have coffee, read, or do a puzzle, and every night we enjoyed a fire in the firepit. Everything in the house, including the Wi-fi, worked fine. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the Keurig and water cooler. The landscaping around the cabin is beautiful and full of whimsical touches. The instruction manual on the kitchen island is chock-full of helpful information about the cabin and the surrounding area. The cabin's Lehighton location served as a great "home base" for our trips to Jim Thorpe and Lehigh Gorge State Park. We'd give this cabin a 10 out of 10 rating!

We had such a lovely stay at the Zink cabin! The cabin was small but had everything we needed, and was extra-cozy. I was worried it would be cold, but the automatic fireplace worked like a charm and added such a nice cozy touch. The kitchen impressed us with the Nespresso machine and the modern cutlery and cookware. The hot tub and fire pit worked well and gave our weekend that relaxing luxe vibe, which is exactly what we were hoping for. My only comments would be that the road getting up to the cabin had a ton of huge potholes, and I just have a small sedan, so was a bit uneasy about that. The cabin is also very modern and automated, so finding the specific light switches, or learning how the Alexa controlled things took a slight learning curve. But overall, we had a very relaxing, comfortable, and cozy stay and would absolutely stay there again.
