The Barn is a luxurious guesthouse at the back of the farm with us on the property, wonderfully quiet location outside the village. Our guesthouse (2015) is located at a unique spot in "Mooi Drenthe". It sits idyllically among characteristic farms near Peize and Roden. You'll love our place because of the tranquility and the beautiful views over the countryside. This area is known for its many hiking and biking trails and is very close to the city for fascinating excursions in the cultural area. Our place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, and can also be rented for longer periods of time.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

We've not seen such a great naturehouse before! In the beautiful green and quiet surroundings of Eén (Drenthe) next to Roden and Norg you'll find Buitenhuis Duurentijdt. This is a luxury vacationhome with all the amneties for a modern day vacation has two big bedroom and two wonderful bathrooms. The living room features a woodstove. There is TV, wifi and fast fiber internet. Around the house there are two terraces and a magnificent view of the lake! A wonderful place to relax.

Or cycle in 15 minutes, for example, to the beautiful Beetsterzwaag and visit one of the galleries, gardens or the forests.

The Twadde Hûske is a cozy and comfortable apartment which can be booked for 4 to 6 people (take a look at the advertisement for further details). The Twadde Hûske has a soothing view over the meadows, located on a private road, with a nice terrace equipped with lounge chairs and a picnic table. This comfortable vacation home is right on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park without facilities/entrance gate or rules. The houses in the park are both permanently occupied and rented for vacation. You can enjoy hiking, biking and mountain biking in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is completely and stylishly decorated and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.
