The kitchen also has everything necessary available. This place is a dream come true for everyone looking for some quiet and peace in the nature with direct access to the water. It's amazing to swim or/and to watch the sunset. There's only one thing better than the location, garden and house: The great hospitality that you'll find here. Mikael and Jean are extremely nice people. They answer every question immediately and share great tips regarding activities. They were very friendly to us and our dog when we met them and even welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine. Overall an absolutely amazing experience!

Journn was an amazing host and the house was super cozy with everything you need. It’s in a beautiful location with a sea view, peaceful and remote—yet just a 20-minute drive to the city. She was also incredibly responsive throughout our stay. One unforgettable moment: we were lucky enough to witness the northern lights lighting up the sky all night long—in late spring! I honestly didn’t expect to see them. I wouldn’t mind staying here again, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Höga Kusten.

So we really loved staying there. Had the things you expect in a house. The view was beautiful. Got some awesome pictures. Anything we may have problems with Petra addressed very quickly. It was awesome.

The area is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of hiking options nearby. We spent our days exploring the trails and our evenings relaxing with the stunning lake view. Cassandra was a wonderful host, providing us with all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was clean and well-maintained, and it had all the amenities we needed. Overall, we highly recommend Cassandra's place for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay for two. Generous spaces, comfy bed, and a wonderful shower. Perfect for us as we mostly used the apartment for overnight for three days, unfortunately we were only there in the evenings and did not see much of the surroundings. Little things that were positive were coffee, chocolate and spices, you don't get that at all Airbnb…. However, the entrance is a bit awkward if you do not have good balance, at least winter time.

We spent the end of year holidays in Maria's cottage and do not regret our choice for a single moment. The location is idyllic, by the lake and close to many hiking trails. The cottage is comfortable and very well decorated, large enough for a family of 4. The accommodation has a direct view of the lake, we were able to observe the beautiful sunrises. The sauna is very simple to use, perfect for winter evenings. The environment is very quiet and peaceful. To go shopping or for activities you have to take the car, the roads can be a bit surprising when you're not used to them. Maria is a very friendly, responsive and considerate host. We had a great time during this stay.

We found a wonderful, very clean place to stay. Kerstin and her husband are great hosts, very friendly and open. The house is cozy and the beds are very good. Nothing is missing. Parking in front of the house is perfect. We would always come back and say thank you from ❤️

Lake swims and beach barbecues, boats and paddle boards, a private sauna and your own pontoon, mushrooms in the forest and berries in every bush, a house you wish you lived in that Philip and Neta encourage you to treat as your own, while quietly providing everything; books and toys and a piano; peace and nature in every direction. We hope to return next year, and the year after that, etc.
