We had a great stay here! Room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Kid/baby friendly too as she provided us both a bassinet and bed rails, as well as infant bath tub. Very nice local breakfast, and excellent tea and coffee. They brought out a baby chair and toys to entertain my baby at breakfast too. The location is a bit far from xitou by foot, but still hikeable, really close by car. Nice local restaurant within 5 min walk for dinner.

Fantastic Stay at Deer Traveler Hostel! I had a wonderful stay at Deer Traveler Hostel in Sun Moon Lake! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the lake, bus stop, and many local attractions. The hostel is modern, stylish, and impeccably clean, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always offering great recommendations on places to visit and things to do. The common areas are well-designed, making it easy to relax and meet fellow travelers. The beds are comfortable, with privacy curtains and individual lights, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Everything about this hostel exceeded my expectations. If you’re visiting Sun Moon Lake, Deer Traveler Hostel is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

I would definitely come back and stay again! Host gave great recommendations on what to do both close by and a little further out of the way. The breakfast in the morning was simple but enough and tasty, and everyone was friendly! The room was clean and comfortable with a view of the parking lot (the only -minor- downside of the stay) and had a clean private bathroom! Would recommend, and would stay again!

Fell in love with this town. Wish we stayed longer. Our host is friendly, kind and helpful. If you love Ghibli, you will love this place. Totoro everywhere even in the room we stayed. Water pressure was powerful. Near the pier and the bus stand from Taichung. Our host even provides discounted ferry tickets and bicycle coupons. Will be back again to explore this place.

第二次造訪南投的九樺落雨松🌲，雖然這次是6月梅雨季、少了紅紅的落羽松葉🍁，但整體氛圍卻別有一番風味，濛濛細雨中令我自己覺得很詩意。有機會真的很想把落雨松用油畫記錄下來。 這次入住時也發現民宿主人更加用心了，大廳增添了許多設施與佈置（冰箱，微波爐，karaoke, 舒服的沙發等等..） 房間設備也升級得更舒適，因為下雨，會在客人入住前都用抽濕機把房間保持乾爽，太細心了。讓人感受到滿滿誠意與溫暖❤️。每次來都覺得被好好款待，而且性價比太高了！

The place of 林千千 and Ching Ming was fantastic and super comfortable. We stayed for 9 days and liked it all a lot. It is in a small hamlet off Yuchi, with just a couple houses and a little local shop with friendly locals. The place is very private and quiet, right below a small hill with slopes dotted by tea garden—a great place for an hour walk through the old village houses, small shrines, and tea bushes. There are plenty of busses stopping 2 minutes away in the direction of both Taichung and Sun Moon Lake and further Shiuli. It is also a great place for a hikes in the area, to Jinglonshan, Shuishedashan, or 良久林場石碑. There are several tea factories nearby, with 日月潭東峰紅茶莊園 being the least tourist one we found. The home itself is very well organized, very clean, comfortable and bigger than it seems from the photos. The bathroom has great water pressure, there is a dehumidifier, and kitchen is well equipped, including a tea set. A great place to relax for a few days.

地點非常好，不會影響到別人，附近都沒有鄰居以及住家。

很乾淨！自助入住很方便！ 性價比很高！距離日月潭，清境農場都很方便！

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Clear instructions as to what amenities they provided prior to our stay. Nice view. Staff were friendly and tried their best to respond to our enquiries and cater to our requests (eg providing charger adapters). Overall a great experience.

This is my first time visiting Sun Moon Lake, and I found the perfect place to stay. Joyce's family run the place, they are so sweet and kind, plus they live in the building, so they're easy to reach if you have any problems. The room and common are very clean and spacious, plus Joyce's family is kinda enough to provide all kinds of snacks and drinks for guests to use. Their place is 5 mins walk from a huge parking lot, which you can get discount through Joyce, and one of the ferry terminal to tour around the lake is also nearby, with two convenient stores that's 1 mins walk away, what more can you asked for? My bf and I really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back and stay here again in the future.

가장 큰 장점은 리모델링이 잘 된 집이라 인테리어가 굉장히 매력적이고 깔끔해요. 아침마다 옥상에서 커피 마시며 잠 깨고 여행을 시작했네요. 칭징농장과 일월담 중간에 위치하고 있어 렌트카로 여행하기 좋습니다.

房間非常乾淨，入住指引很詳細，周圍很好停車，除了一直有鳥叫 房源外算是安靜的

An extremely beautiful place which my family enjoyed staying in. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Host even provided two foldable mattresses for our toddlers to sleep on. Plenty of amentities provided that made our stay really comfortable. Only down side is that the bathroom on level 2 had some drainage issues and flooded quite badly when we took our showers. We had to resort to using the bathrooms on the other levels for showering. Also, the area under the sofa was not cleaned. When we bent down to retrieve our kid’s toy from under the sofa, the amount of dirt we saw under the sofa was quite astonishing. Everything else was otherwise perfect and we really had a great time here.
