Perfect for a weekend stay in Sumter

We were visiting for my son‘s graduation. We used to live in South Carolina a few years ago, we’re military and this home reminded us so much of our previous home we had. This house was just what we needed as a reminder to retire and move to South Carolina. Traveling can sometimes make you homesick and this home made us feel comfortable, like we were home ourselves.

We were very happy with this house— and it was a good place for cousins and family to drop in and visit after our funeral in Bradford Springs -even though we had had a dinner at one of their homes they continued to come over and bring food And visit with us. The house was roomy comfortable, and our family enjoyed the pool. We would rent this place again.

Wonderful stay! Absolutely would stay again! What a peaceful, beautiful and unique place! All the amenities and little details and extra touch, like coffee, etc - very well thought out! We had a wonderful time! Such a beautiful location, so truly relaxing and enjoyable! Thank you!!!

This is truly a hidden gem. The property is nothing short of amazing. We had such a relaxing and nice time. We brought all our own food and used the awesome kitchen. The owner was accommodating, responsive when needed and even left a great birthday surprise for my young daughter. There is a cute picnic table on the grounds compete with chandelier hanging from a tree over the water. We roasted marshmallows at the fire pit and walked the private property daily. The town is small with a local Piggly Wiggly and Family Dollar. The front of the house does face the main road with businesses across the street, but the design of the house has the living spaces on the back side facing the water so that is where all our time was spent. My only wish is that visitors are allowed to fish in the water on the property. I highly recommend this gorgeous home as when you enter the gate it’s like entering your own private paradise! Thanks Maria for allowing us to have a much needed respite from this hectic world right now.

The house was beautifully decorated on the inside and spacious, very clean. When I laid down to sleep I could tell the sheets were fresh they smelled so good.Plenty of couches for everyone to sit on. Televisions everywhere. Our group was very comfortable at this house for our stay.

Jessica’s home is so nice and in a wonderful neighborhood! It is very comfortable and had all we needed. The crib and toys were perfect for my daughter. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate Jessica’s great communication before and during our stay!

Kendra was extremely responsive and very accommodating when we needed a place to stay very last minute. I am grateful to her.

Extremely Clean & Beautiful. The house was visibly clean and the playset in the backyard? such a bonus. my 2yr old loved it. overall, this home exceeded our expectations.

Terrance’s home was comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. We had everything we needed in order to cook with lots of space for the family to spread out! The mattresses were super comfortable! But beyond the house, I was so grateful for Terrance’s timely communication and willingness to work with us during some glitches in our schedule. Overall a great experience!

This was a beautiful place well located near Swan Lake and an art gallery and local theater. Lovely neighborhood with sidewalks and shady trees and a nearby little park for kids.

Our stay at this Airbnb was pleasant overall. The home is cozy and offers great value for the price. While we did encounter some cleanliness issues upon arrival, the host was very responsive and quickly offered to have a cleaning lady come to address the issue. The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing. Maybe the cleanliness issue may have been a one-time occurrence, and we appreciate the host's swift action in addressing it. Despite this, we still feel that the size and overall value of the home deserve a 5-star rating. With a bit of attention to detail and some fixing up, this Airbnb has the potential to be a fantastic place to stay. We appreciate the responsiveness and hospitality.

Gabriel's house was fantastic. I was located near lots of restaurants, was clean, and had everything we needed! It was perfect for my family's visit to Sumter and hopefully it is available next year for our next visit!
