Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sumatra

highly recommend for those who comes from city and would like to feel staying in Kampung house (like me & do not have any families staying in kampung). Still maintaining the heritage of the original house yet modernised toilets for current context (I think city ppl will always hv toilets concern when gng holidays) I felt so peaceful & wish I could stay longer. There's a small stream that is kids friendly depth, also there's pool for the kids to enjoy. My family loved this place too. sadly no durian yet when I came (June'25). the receptionist says best time to come in Jul/Aug. Falling in love with Perak & Will definitely return again hopefully & try other houses (Rumah Kuning or Kuda).

This is my second time booking this homestay – the house is super spacious and very clean. We had a birthday event this time, and everything was provided – tables, chairs, all complete. Really recommended! The owner is friendly and easy to talk to. Such a beautiful home… I love it!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is incredibly spacious—with so many rooms and plenty of living areas, it’s perfect for big families or groups of couples. The pool was a daily highlight, and the front-yard playground was a fantastic bonus. The neighborhood itself is wonderfully serene — you really only hear birds chirping. There’s a security guard at the gate for peace of mind, and food delivery via Grab was a breeze whenever we wanted a quick bite. Inside, the home was spotless and tidy, and we appreciated all the natural greenery surrounding the property. One small thing to note: the garden isn’t fully fenced off. It’s shared with the neighboring duplex, so you might see (and hear) the neighbor’s kids popping in to retrieve their footballs or toys. It didn’t bother us — honestly, it felt like part of the local charm — but worth mentioning if you’re looking for total privacy. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a roomy, peaceful retreat with all the conveniences.

Such a lovely Airbnb! We really enjoyed staying here. The bed was super comfortable, and the location was amazing as we could walk anywhere we wanted. Demi and her family were fantastic and communicative hosts, as they made us feel really welcome and let us check in early, and also looked after our bags upon checkout too. We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Georgetown!!

enjoy my stay here..like a home

We are here to enjoy the weekend together with the team and be a bit more chill. Met the expectations, and everyone rested well. Whoever wants to come in a group, I think is a good choice beds are more than enough to fit everyone. There is also another small cottage which female and male can seperate out

The house is very nice and clean, pool was the highlight for the kids. It's good enough to splash around but not a lap pool definitely. House has all the amenities listed, it's within walking distance to Jonker, within a quiet residential estate. Host is very responsive and considerate, she prepared snacks and drinks ahead of our arrival. Toilets though small, are clean and sufficient. The only suggestion I have is to install more wash basins, for my family of 11 we need to take turns to brush out teeth as there is only 1 basin. Overall a great stay and we will definitely be back!

Rumah sgt cantik Stay sangat ok Location fantastic Boleh dapat ikan segar dekat dengan rumah Masjid dekat Kedai makan banyak Kedai celop tepung banyak and best Just..ada sarang lebah bunga dalam bilik air.Maybe owner tak perasan sebab bilik air terbuka- open air (cantik) dan sarang ada dibahagian pokok yg terlindung.Tetapi owner/caretaker respond cepat bile buat aduan. And ada seekor kucing dari rumah lain sedikit mengganggu siap terberak dibhgian halaman depan. yg lain sangat superb!!! TQ sangat atas layanan yg diberi🩷

After traveling to many countries and staying at many different Airbnbs, this was easily the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at and the best host I’ve ever had. The place is perfect for short term and long term stays. We arrived to the Airbnb at night and were greeted by Ng who went out of his way to provide us with dinner so that we can have a restful first night after flying in. The place is very spacious and had everything we wanted and needed during our stay. The space has a luxurious feel to it, with a great view of the Petronas towers. The living room and kitchen area were very nice, and the bedroom and bathroom were extremely comfortable. Location is great and so were the amenities. Fast working elevators in the building was also nice to have. Air conditioning worked well and bathroom shower had great pressure. We felt at home here and if we are ever in Kuala Lumpur again we will be sure to stay here again. Thank you, Ng!

Love this place so much! Same goes for my family. Dennis is a good and responsive host. His house is very clean—feels like home sweet home. You can see he put a lot of thought and care into his homestay. Dennis prepared a lot of free F&B (eggs, cup noodles, coffee, tea, Milo, milk, etc). We loved the balcony the most—very comfortable! Had breakfast there every morning with what he provided. If got Jam, it would be perfect! Really appreciate he gave freeze-dried coffee and not 3-in-1—nice touch! Living room has 2 sofas—one of them is moderately firm, good for sleeping. Two bedrooms: master room fits 3–4 people and smaller room fits 2 and comes with a balcony. The bathroom is clean, and shampoo is provided. Water pressure is strong, and the water is hot. The TV is large but only supports YouTube, unless you have a Netflix account to log in. Parking is convenient, just in front of the house and no need to wait for the lift—very convenient! Overall, an excellent stay. Thanks again!

The apartment itself was superb. Very modern and very clean. Also had access to mugs and utensils. Good sized refrigerator also. Fantastic views over Kuala Lumpur from both the apartment and the infinity pool. Would highly recommend. It was the first self check in hotel for me but the host communicated brilliantly.

Our stay was great. Hannah's communication is the best and we knew exactly what to do. The recommendations were also nice and it was very helpfull to have Mr. Chuan as a taxi driver from the airport. I also would like to say that the room have everything that we needed, even bottled water ! The rooftop with the pool was a real plus. We went there everyday and it never was busy. Lalaport mall is just near, with a lot of restaurants :) A walking distance to Jalan Alor too. I recommend this stay !

Great apartment, beautiful view of the city skyline. Nearby mall is very convenient, host is very responsive and caring. Really enjoyed my stay here.

We loved our stay. The apartment is spacious and well kept. Easy to find and easy to self check in. The location is a little bit out of the centre, which we always look for. But it’s easy to get a grab or a train into the centre. The trains are air conned so we loved being on them. There are plenty of great restaurants near by and street food places within walking distance. The view at night from the apartment and the pool is the highlight. Recommend a night time swim with the lit up skyline. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return the KL. Thank you.

Me and my wife had a great short stay at this place, the standard of the building and its facilities are both top notch! The view from the window of our room, from the gym and the rooftop infinity pool of the KL skyline is beautiful - be it day or night. Really good value for money.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! House is clean, spacious and modern. Well furnished and decorated with beautiful plants. It is central and accessible to many of the mega malls. Will definitely recommend if you’re looking for an amazing stay with friends or family in kl!

Diana 's place is a gem. The view of the house is amazing. The house is as per everything is shown in the picture. Clean and beautiful! Is a near walk to Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza. Is surrounded by foods and easily assessible by foot, car or by grab.

Eric was an amazing host! The place we stayed in was really great! Just perfect 😍 No regrets at all! Highly recommended!
