Vacation rentals with a kayak in Súdwest-Fryslân

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Micaela! Le logement est très agréable et fonctionnel ! Très bien équipé! Une literie excellente ! L’accès sécurisé au canal est un vrai plus avec les enfants! Depuis le logement nous avons pu partir en vélo en toute facilité pour découvrir cette magnifique région ! Merci! Nous conseillons vivement ce logement ! Micaela nous a accueilli en personne et très chaleureusement !

Het huisje ligt op een heel rustige locatie met een weids uitzicht. De bedden lagen heerlijk en de rest van de inrichting/het huisje was comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om erop uit te gaan. Het huisje ligt in een natuurgebied met veel water. Er zijn veel wandelmogelijkheden en er zijn leuke plaatjes in de omgeving om te bezoeken. Claudia en haar man zijn gastvrije vriendelijke mensen.

Das Luna Beach House ist wunderschön eingerichtet, absolut geschmackvoll und stilsicher. Die Lage am See und der Ausblick darauf hat uns täglich ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert. Schön war auch, dass alles so toll sauber war. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Ferienhaus ist überdurchschnittlich gut mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet! Man fühlt sich direkt wohl! Der Kontakt mit Renske war total nett und zuverlässig schnell. Man kann das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, das Häuschen ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, es ist sehr gemütlich und warm und der Blick ist einfach fantastisch. Hagar war sehr zuvorkommend, nett und immer erreichbar, auch als wir ein kleines Problem mit unserer Dusche hatten. Alles war perfekt, wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub! Die Inseln Ameland und Schiermonnikoog sind ein absolutes Muss :-)

Die Unterkunft war ruhig gelegen. Das Häuschen war sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Man hat sich somit gleich wohlgefühlt. Victor und seine Frau waren sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Die Unterkunft kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es gibt unweit vieles schönes zu erkunden, wie z. B. den Ortskern von Edam oder die Promenade von Volendam. Nach Amsterdam unbedingt mit dem Bus fahren. Super einfach und man ist ganz schnell im Stadtzentrum.

Wir haben die Weihnachtsfeiertage und den Jahreswechsel in eurem wunderschön eingerichteten Haus sehr genossen. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekorierte Haus, sogar mit geschmücktem Weihnachtsbaum, lud zum Verweilen ein - sei es am großen Esstisch bei vielen Gesellschaftsspielen oder in der gemütlichen Sitzecke am knisternden Kamin beim Lesen eines Buches. Das direkt am Wasser gelegene Grundstück eignet sich auch wunderbar, um bei Sonnenaufgang oder Sonnenuntergang Natur und Vögel zu beobachten oder mit dem Hund schöne Spaziergänge in die Umgebung zu unternehmen und kleine Städtchen zu besuchen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Paul war ein fantastischer Gastgeber, der proaktiv und innerhalb von Minuten auf offene Fragen antwortete. Außerdem hatten wir die Möglichkeit später auszuchecken. Das Haus ist der perfekte Ort, um dem stressigen Alltag zu entfliehen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Wendela sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das „Rosenhäuschen“ war genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Es war unser „ Home away from home“. Und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

We enjoyed our stay, and the surroundings were beautiful and calming! The cottage is well-equipped, overlooking the water. It felt like home instantly. I wish we had stayed longer to make use of the floating sauna. We will certainly return and recommend it!

Heerlijk huisje! Versierd in kerstsfeer. Lekkere bedden. Inrichting heel smaakvol. Mooi uitzicht. Hele goede houtkachel. Zeker boeken!

Huisje is erg knus en van alle gemakken voorzien. De buitenruimte is prachtig. Ik heb genoten van de rondscharrelende kippen.

Wij hebben een heerlijk nachtje gehad in huisje Skries. Alles was aanwezig, de bedden lagen heerlijk en de open haard was de kers op de taart van de avond. Dankjewel!

This is a special, small place, an old older house direct at the water. Our neighbours were sheep (disinterested), geese, ducks, a few magpies and seagulls. You reach the cottage through a beautiful garden footpath, and look out on a wide landscape, peaceful, quiet, separate. The cottage itself is cosy, with loving touches and original wood, pillars and beams. We were there as two people, searching quiet warmth, time to talk and listen. We fell in love with this place. Small, but not too small, the view on the landscape, the stepping outside and thinking of Mary Oliver. In the middle of the tiny town and totally quiet. We did not use the TV or the wifi. Can't comment on that. The shower is spacy and warm. The kitchen allowed us to cook proper meals and all amenities (and more) are there. Beautiful.

Heerlijk rustig en gezellig huisje. Prachtig, vrij uitzicht. sfeervol en ruim. je wordt persoonlijk ontvangen en ontvangt tips. Hou je van rust en natuur dan is dit een aanrader. Op 10 minuten van zee, duinen en dorpjes.

prachtige eco-lodge van alle gemakken voorzien op een schitterende locatie. er zijn trampolines, een speeltuin, kajaks, skelters en een vuurplaats. altijd iets te doen.

Overall, our stay was very positive. We even saved this house as a place we'd love to visit again, especially in summer. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the lack of essentials like shampoo, sufficient soap, toilet paper, and only a small amount of paper towels. Additionally, the heating system was quite loud. There was also no firewood available, but when I asked, Orlondo quickly brought some—perhaps he would have provided the other missing items if I had requested them as well. That said, the view and the cozy atmosphere of the house were truly wonderful.

We had a lovely two-day weekend getaway with our children, aged 8 and 9. They absolutely loved it! The house was incredibly charming and peaceful. Despite the 0°C temperature outside, it was perfectly warm and cozy inside. We’re already thinking of coming back during the summer months to enjoy it again. The only downside was that the bed linens needed to be rented separately. We brought our own, but putting them on and taking them off was a bit of a hassle. :)

We loved our time at Pean! It was beautiful, serene, and the house looked exactly like the pictures. I was happy to see the map of the community ahead of time so we could find our house (we arrived after dark) but they were also very proactive ahead of time in explaining how to find it. The fireplace was wonderful- very cozy and they provide some wood to start you off with. (They also sell more on location if you don’t want to bring your own.) And we took advantage of the floating sauna- easy to book, clean, and nice view of the night sky. Our kids loved the play area and assorted outdoor toys. Our dogs were thrilled to join us on vacation (by the way- pristine clean- we couldn’t tell other dogs had ever been!) All in all- we were very pleased and we would highly recommend it.

We stayed with our 5 month old for a week. Charming place, extensively equipped kitchen, wonderful living room and terrace to enjoy a good time. And Janneke was always super helpful, forthcoming and made us feel welcome!

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad bij Nico en Danielle. Het zijn heel aardige verhuurders die snel reageren op alle vragen. Zelfs een smart tv werd op ons verzoek geregeld. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en erg sfeervol ingericht. Prima badkamer en bed. Het huisje ligt in hun achtertuin, maar dat merk je nauwelijks omdat het helemaal afgesloten ligt van het hoofdhuis. De omgeving is met Hoorn en Enkhuizen de moeite waard. Kortom: een fijne week gehad!

Wir haben 3 Nächte in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft in Sloten verbracht. Die Hütte war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und der Campingplatz war einfach zauberhaft. Wir waren umgeben von Wasser und Grünflächen und ca. 5 min fußläufig von Sloten entfernt. Auf dem Weg in die Kleinstadt geht man entlang der Bootsanlegestelle, was bei Sonnenuntergang einfach traumhaft war. Vielen lieben Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!
