Chalet vacation rentals in Südsteiermark

Very nice and special place to stay. Very close to nature with horses, dog and cats. Even on hot summer days, beautifully shaded in the forest. The restaurant was very cozy and the food very good. The pool also provided cooling. All in all highly recommended if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Cottage is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything is extremely clean. I would recommend it for a few nights stay or even longer, we were sad to leave after four days.

The three of us spent a weekend in the house. It was cozy and had everything you needed. The sauna was a highlight. We didn't use the barrel, it was unfortunately defective. We could have contacted our host immediately to fix this. But because it was already a little later and the barrel takes some time to warm up, we then did without it and used the sauna. There was a spacious bedroom and a single bed in the living room. A great bathroom and another one in the sauna area. An additional toilet on the upper floor next to the bedroom was also provided. We did not use the "wellness area" with the infrared cabin. Personally, I would have arranged the room layout of the house a little differently. Nevertheless, you can feel comfortable and you have everything you need to relax.

Nicole was very friendly and responsive when writing. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet her in person. The cottage is really cozy, the tiled stove is very homely and the basic equipment such as detergent, sponge, dishwashing tabs, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, toilet paper, bandages, shower gel, shampoo was perfectly available - something like this is very rare! There is also a dishwasher, but it does not wash properly. Would recommend the cottage to you! :)

We enjoyed the opportunity to take beautiful hikes directly from the house. Likewise, the proximity to nature at the edge of the forest with the unique opportunity to observe animals and stars. Since it rained a lot for once, we were glad that we could stay in the house, feel good and benefit from the view of the valley through the full-length glass front. Also suitable for leisurely bike rides along the Mur. For something more athletically ambitious, also from the house along the wine route to Slovenia. Graz, which is beautiful, is about 40 minutes away by car. Approximately 6 km from the house is a beautiful swimming lake in Gamlitz. Gabriel gave us good tips for food and drinks and proved to be a good host. Thanks again for that!

Karin place is the best we have stayed in on our trip in Austria and Germany. The place is immaculate and very cute. The outdoor area has perfect views to enjoy with the morning coffee. The nearby towns have some interesting Roman ruins and castles. We were attending an F1 race about 115 km away but still we had great rest and great drive and great evenings locally and in Graz. Highly recommended!

The four of us, accompanied by two dogs, spent an extremely relaxing stay in the chalet. The amenities left nothing to be desired – everything you needed was available. We were particularly impressed by the cozy fireplace, the inviting sauna and the heated outdoor pool, which made the stay a real highlight. A perfect combination of comfort and relaxation – highly recommended!

We enjoyed the days very much. Our requests were quickly addressed. It was like the pictures.

It was an absolute dream stay in the so-called Schilcherland Chalet! After many bookings in other accommodations, we can say that this was by far our best experience. From the hospitality, to the fairytale premises, to the small, unexpected details that always put a smile on your face, everything was perfect! Baskets with fabulous breakfast from regional products, where every additional request is also fulfilled, were at the door every day at the desired time. Great views, nature, sauna, heated pool, hot tub, gym, wine bar with delicious selection... everything for private use... I can only warmly recommend the accommodation to everyone and if anyone has doubts whether it is really as beautiful as in the photos... it is even more beautiful! Dear Gert and dear Sabine, thanks again for the wonderful days :) As I said: We will definitely come back!!!

Great stay, highly recommend

Staying at Gerald's is fantastic. We and our dogs enjoyed it very much. The lakeside location is perfect. Swimming, SUP paddling or simply enjoying the sun was an unforgettable vacation for us. A heartfelt thank you to Gerald, he is a warm and accommodating host.

Gerald is an extremely accommodating host! Our accommodation was simply adorably furnished, we felt like we were in an English cottage. The large glazed sitting/sleeping berth offers a sunny and cozy place to read and relax - a real favorite spot! The private lake access is of course also awesome, whether in summer or winter. Overall, a place you'd love to come back to!

The house is really nicely located and prepared with a lot of love. The photos don't really do justice to the place. The apartment was perfect for the two of us in terms of size and furnishings, including the dog, who also felt very comfortable and didn't want to leave. I can't even list the many small special features here, it's best to discover them yourself.

The short break at Markus' was fantastic. The place looks better than in the photos and is well equipped. Everything is available to feel at home immediately. The house is superbly furnished and excellently cleaned. The view, the garden, the hot tub, the sauna and the entire furnishings of the house are ultra-modern; we immediately felt at home. Markus is a super host: friendly, accommodating, proactive but not intrusive. The house is perfect for both a short vacation and a longer stay. It's like a small private spa stay. Parking space with charging station was also available and worked smoothly. We were completely satisfied and happy! I can recommend the property 100% and I'll come back for sure!
