Literally the perfect place for a weekend getaway — hot tub, bbq, and firepit - plus a walk to a good pub nearby. Had an amazing time and all went very smoothly. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely weekend at Suzanne’s place. The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful. The hot tub was the highlight and we spent a very relaxing weekend in it. The place itself is so clean and has a lovely layout. Suzanne and her husband were so friendly and were always reachable if need be. We will definitely be back. Rachael and Sarah :)

beautiful lodge in a quiet area which would be great for any fishing fans. only 30-40 mins from a selection of great beaches too, so an ideal location for exploring the area. Ruth was a great host and even dropped off some freshly laid eggs and some plastic cups for the hot tub!

A great stay for our family. The perfect getaway from the madness of every day parent life! We enjoyed a 2 hour exploration across the acres of land nearby and some relaxation in the well maintained hot tub. The place was a home from home and extremely well kept. In the evening there were a few creepy crawlies, but expected in the countryside! The king sized bed was ever so comfy and the children slept well in the single bedroom next door. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to come back in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins! Easy instructions to find, and ample parking. Beautiful landscaping around the pod cabins, and although there were others, it felt very secluded and private. Very quiet and loved hearing the horses and birds. The wood fired hot tub was AMAZING and was the perfect place to catch up with friends. BBQ made for easy dining and we were able to sit out on the patio. Small inside (for 4 people) but perfectly formed and had absolutely everything we needed. Loved our stay and hope to return!

The lodge was perfect for our weekend in Bury Saint Edmunds, both in terms of location and the lodge itself. The lodge was spacious for the six of us, well equipped and spotless and the hot tub was an added bonus! Colin and Sue provided great information and responded quickly to the query I had

Lovely little cabin in a beautiful and peaceful location! Everything was to our liking, the hosts are warm and welcoming, and the cosy cabin was exactly what we needed! Everything was clean and tidy, and the back yard is just gorgeous!

We rented John’s hut to spend a day at the beach with friends. The hut was exactly as described and very well located, close to the cafesnand shops, the toilets, and the parking spaces. It contained everything you can need for a perfect day at the beach! Would definitely recommend it and would consider renting it again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Adrian’s cabin. The vineyard is stunning to wake up to and very peaceful. The cabin has everything you need, and is well kitted out. The local pub was great and we enjoyed some nice ales/cider! We spent Friday afternoon wine tasting with Adrian which was lovely and really insightful, and as part of our experience he provided a large picnic to take away and enjoy on our balcony. Thank you Adrian, we’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely few days at the Mersea Retreat. It is very well equipped, comfortable and quiet and Emily is a very helpful host. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed walking on the beach and visiting the Mersea Island Museum. Hope to stay again. Many thanks.

Sandy was there to meet us on arrival which was really lovely. She couldn’t do enough for us and we felt welcome. She was contactable at all times. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen area was perfect for us and had all we needed for a comfortable weekend. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The cabin was warm and the heating was easy to adjust. It was private and very quiet. Very safe and secure. It’s a really beautiful location and if we are in the area again we’d definitely try and book a slot with Sandy.

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

Liz was a fantastic host- so friendly and helpful. Finding the location could have been challenging, but she was more than accommodating to make sure we found the AirBnB after a long drive/arriving at night. The place was clean, just like the photos. Liz was a lovely host to communicate back and forth with- and she was even generous enough to allow a late check-out. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a really nice time here. our children loved playing in the garden and watching the rabbits. the place was perfectly clean and well stocked kitchen for cooking. thank you!

Had a great weekend get away from London, barely a 2 hr drive. The cabin we stayed was very comfortable for 4 guests. Clean & had lot of amminites. We had a private outdoor space which was great for a morning coffe or a sundowner. Jane was a very accomodating host, super responsive and had the best local reccomendations for us. All in all we had a great time at this property. Suerly reccomended.

We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was absolutely lovely — very clean, spacious, and well looked after. It had everything we needed and felt really comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending nearby, it was walking distance to the venue which made everything so convenient. A big shoutout to the host Scarlet, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay — quick to respond and even offered to help with check-in. Truly top-notch customer service! Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Very quiet and beautiful setting. Easy to find with the clear instructions given. Great location, about 50 minutes into London by car. Peter is a great host and is very responsive when you message. Thanks for the lovely stay, we will be back soon.

My favorite place to say when in beautiful Cambridge! Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, but an easy walk to all the colleges, restaurants, and all the wonderful things the heart of Cambridge has to offer. Look forward to my next visit!

Great stay while visiting friends. Very calm, very cozy in this nice wooden house. And small croisants and cereals for breakfast were already there.
