Beach house vacation rentals in Strathmere, Upper Township

Our group enjoyed our stay at Liz's place! It's a short drive to Cape May and Wildwood and is right next to several bayside beaches as well (literally a 2 minute walk). We came during horseshoe crab mating season, so having a bayside beach right next door was extremely convenient for seeing that spectacle. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook at home, watch TV, or lounge in the backyard. Definitely recommend if you're visiting with a group or family! Only thing to note is that you'll need to bring their own bedsheets - it's called out in the description so it's entirely upfront, but make sure you don't forget!

We had a lovely time at this bayfront home! The views from the balconies were amazing. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Host answered our questions and had helpful communications. We hope to visit again soon!

Our party really enjoyed our stay! The property was extremely clean, spacious, equipped with exactly what we needed. Easy access to casinos and golf courses nearby. We would highly recommend this property!

Great stay with family. The kids loved the pool in the backyard. Place was well set up for two adults and three children between 8-11. Location is just off the bay beach and the sunset views were amazing.

We decided last minute to travel over Memorial Day weekend. We were fortunate to find Katie's place open for a few days. She is a very responsive host. Home was very clean and as listed. We were able to bring our dog and found her property to be very dog friendly. Peaceful location just a short walk to the bay. Perfect for small family with pet. Close to all Cape May has to offer.

Edward Joseph's property was beautiful and truly helped my wife and I enjoy our anniversary. We might not have brought our dog had we known the cost upfront, inability for her to use the furniture or that neighbors would rat on my wife because our dog peed on her overgrown grass.

This was a great stay for my boyfriend and I! The Airbnb was super clean and it was in a great location. Super close to the beach and other great restaurants. Would highly recommend!!

We had a great time at Mike’s House! Everything was great. The pool was awesome! Mike was super responsive to texts and phone calls. The house was close to tons of restaurants and the lake! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at back bay bliss home was absolutely wonderful! The place looked exactly like the pictures—and honestly, even better. It exceeded all my expectations. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully organized. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining this home. Mara and Carolyn were incredibly responsive, helpful, and attentive to any questions or needs we had. They were also very flexible with both check-in and check-out, which made everything so much smoother for us. We celebrated my sister’s bachelorette weekend here, and it ended up being such a special and unforgettable experience for her and for all of us. We’re already looking forward to coming back. The cottage was perfect for our stay! Close to Cape May and Wildwood and located in a small little community of cottages which was very nice! The place was very clean and very cute! We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Dave’s place was nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve stayed at many an Airbnb and have never had such a pristine experience along with a host that was bending over backwards. I don’t think I waited more than 10 minutes for a response from Dave when I had a question. The location is at the top of cape may with beautiful scenery in the front and total privacy in the back. I can’t encourage people enough to stay here! It was perfect.

Roseanne's place was amazing. So adorable, extremely clean, and had everything we needed. The cabana room was such an awesome space--both during the day and in the evenings. The private pool and easy access to the beach gave us plenty of options. So close to all the restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream spots, etc. that we only used the car once when we wanted to grab dinner in Cape May. Roseanne was super communicative and, had we needed anything, I have no doubt she would have resolved it immediately. We will definitely be back. :)

This was the best located place we've ever stayed for a vacation. We have 3 boys (7, 5, 9 months) and were able to park our car for the week. Our kids had no issues walking everywhere. It was a quick walk to the beach and boardwalk, OC Waterpark, shops and restaurants on Asbury, a public playground across from Acme, and an eyeshot from an Açaí bowl, ice cream, and coffee/sandwich shops. Directly Kitty-cornered is a park with green space and winding sidewalks that our kids rode scooters on and played sports at. There was plenty of space inside for our family of 5 and it came stocked with everything we needed, including beach gear. It was also amazing to relax out on the porch after the kids went to bed. We all agreed this is the best vacation we've had and a huge part of that was because of this place and its location. We hope to be able to rent it again for future vacations! This has been my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! The space truly has everything you could possibly think of—every utensil, pot, pan, and seasoning you might need is already there. The kitchen is so well-stocked, it made cooking feel effortless. The home itself is spacious, cozy, and perfect for a girls trip. The views are absolutely stunning—waking up to the sound of the ocean and looking out at the water every morning was so refreshing. Even though the beach itself was just okay, the overall atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. My friends and I had such a great time and genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. The host was super responsive and easy to reach, which made everything even smoother. I really hope to come back one day—this stay was truly special!

We loved everything about this house from the breathtaking views, open spacious layout, and well-stocked amenities. The biggest feature is the location and the view! Even during rainy days, we enjoyed so much of our time in the bay facing room ( completely unobstructed view!) watching the wildlife, ships, and bay activity. It was perfect for our small kids.

Beautiful house with plenty of space. It was nice to be on the bay. A bit of a walk to the beach and boardwalk but that was to be expected. Make sure to read the house rules about making sure the towels are fully cleaned and put away. All in all, we had a great stay.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house! Property is as pictured. Rooms are spacious. Off street parking is available for 3 vehicles. The back of the property is directly on the beach…plenty of seating for our group. We had beautiful weather and our girls weekend was a success!

We had a great time at this house. Thomas was incredibly helpful and gave us clear instructions, and the place was very clean and organized for our check-in. Avalon was quiet at the time we visited, but it was beautiful and just what we needed for a little girl's trip getaway!
