Vacation rentals with lake access in Strathcona

Peaceful, tranquil little cottage with a natural window in the trees to the sea 🩵 Hadn't visited Sunshine Coast before but this was just right for our needs. Our dog Finley enjoyed the fenced outdoors & spending time with Frank the dog :) Well laid out cottage, had everything we needed + a comfy bed. Enjoyed sitting out on the covered deck of an evening, scent of lavender all around. Annie gave us all the details needed for a great stay. Friendly & available for any questions, .. not that we had any need to ask of anything :)

Great stay, wonderful experience, spectacular view, friendly and responsive host, super clean. Would definitely go back there and enjoy the beautiful Sunshine Coast in this beautiful place. Private access to the ocean was amazing where we could take our paddle boards into the water. We saw plenty of seals while paddling.

Mel and her hubby need that Airbnb to consider bumping their rating from 5 to 7 or even 10 stars. She was super attentive, a lifesaver since we got there two hours early and she welcomed us with open arms, even though the kids were wiped out from the drive. She kept checking on us knowing the kids were buzzing to explore. The jacuzzi was spotless, and the kitchen? Wow, fully stocked – she even had extra spices and sauces for forgetful folks! Seriously, best Airbnb experience in Canada so far, and we're hoping to go back soon.

The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with an amazing location to top it off. Barb was lovely to communicate with and was very responsive with any questions we had. Great for a girls weekend away or a family vacation, there is something for everyone. We will happily stay there again!

We rented Darcey’s house for a family reunion, combined with a bit of late season fishing. The house was perfect for our party of eight. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood with a rural feel and had good parking on the street for our boat trailer. Its close proximity to the Kitty Coleman boat ramp was really convenient. The house itself had everything we needed to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal and was a comfortable space for relaxing and catching up with family. Highly recommended.

Wow! This place is a must! Super private, bright, clean and COMFORTABLE! Literally steps from a beautiful, sandy beach… we were told by people there that often whales could be spotted from the beach - we weren’t lucky enough, but if they were there, you would be able to see them from the house! We’ll come back here for sure, and we’re bringing friends! Cathy and Bryan

We loved our stay here. While small, the unit is very welcoming and cosy, with the added benefit of a private deck. Tina is a perfect host, quick to respond to any questions and offering local tips. She even invited us to join her and her husband on a walk with their walking group - such fun to meet some local people! The location is not close to restaurants or nightlife (which is why we chose it!). It offers a sea view and easy access to a beach. It’s also a short drive into Lund, for access to magnificent Savary Island. We will return if we’re ever back in Powell River!

Loved the cabin!! Can’t wait to book again

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Over on the Sunshine Coast for work. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Jonathan's place (twice last year, twice this year). As always everything very clean and all the required amenities. Very peaceful / private location. Will certainly stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Michelle’s place! The surroundings were stunning, with a beautiful water view and a lovely garden that made the experience even more special. Michelle was an incredible host, very kind, responsive, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even staying up late just to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed. When we requested extra bakeware, she provided it right away. The home felt cozy and inviting, truly a home away from home. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time at Quadra Island. Katerina and her husband were very welcoming and provided us with excellent tips. The lake is great and we did a lot of kayaking and paddling. Warm recommandation for this address.

We stayed 3 nights in Colin's cabine. it was the last days of our honeymoon. It was absolutly perfect! We loved our stay. We loved the cabine. It’s not that rustic. The bed, the sheets, the towels, the dishes are new. The cabine is in between the woods and the sea. the view is spectacular. We saw many animals. It’s calm and lovely. The town and the restaurants are at 15 min by car. You can relax, walk, reflect and enjoy life. Last but not least, Colin is really nice, reactive and helpful. He seems to be a really good person. Shoot. Only a thousand words allowed to describe Paradise Point? Let’s put it this way— our week on Powell Lake was so unforgettable we’ve already booked in for next year. The photos don’t do it justice— you really have to see/experience it to believe it. The cottage itself is sweet and rustic, with super comfy beds, and the location and views are indescribable. My husband and I went for a quiet retreat, just the two of us, but the cottage/property would no doubt be fantastic for a group. We swam every day, made pals with the ravens and chipmunks, lay out under the stars every night… bliss. And Dylan! Dylan was lovely to communicate with— prompt, clear, kind— and took care of all our needs. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!
