Vacation rentals with beach access in Stratford

Jeannette was there to greet us and made sure we knew where everything was and that we had everything we needed. She even provided breakfast. Her place was immaculate. The location was amazing. She made our departure very easy. We are looking forward to staying there again. If you looking for a great place to stay, this is it.

Have stayed here multiple times. Very comfortable apartment and as described in listing. Private entrance and setting in nice walkable neighborhood. Johanna is very responsive and a wonderful host. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay! The home was exactly as pictured — beautifully maintained with charming indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool was great, though unfortunately the weather didn’t quite cooperate during our visit. The location was also a big plus — close to so many great restaurants and shopping options. The Karleen and Kim were wonderful — kind, responsive, and clearly a lovely family. We felt very welcome and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway.

This was our second stay at JoAnn's place and everything worked out great. Her place is comfortable, clean and well located for our needs.

Barbara’s place reminded me of the way airbnbs used to be. It felt like home-away-from-home. The accommodations were high quality and clean, and there were even some tasty snacks! We loved our stay. Everything was as pictured. Stony Creek was wonderful, and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Had an excellent stay at Eileen’s place. The house was extremely clean and perfect size for a couple. Beautiful view and surroundings. Only wish I had more time to explore the area. Would definitely stay here again if I return.

We had a very comfortable two-night stay at Unit #2. The space is light-filled and the water view from the living room is lovely. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The bowl of fruit Susana left for us was a nice welcome. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen is very well-stocked, with appliances and an ample supply of dish ware. We stayed in the bedroom with the queen bed and view. If you’re a person who needs a totally dark room to sleep, be advised there are Venetian blinds - they darken the space but do not block all light. Susana’s place is clean, simple, and comfortable. If you’re looking to be near the beach, it’s a great location. We were in the area for events in New Haven and found the 25 minute trip there very manageable. We took a long walk on the pedestrian-only path to Walnut Beach. Beautiful views. Highly recommend doing that

It’s a great place to stay with your family. The host is super friendly and responsive. I absolutely love the amenities and the attention given to. Only thing I wish the inside voice levels were reduce; every time we spoke, we were able to hear one another even though we were in different parts of the home. But, it’s a very good and safe neighborhood.

This was a few nights getaway with my two adult daughters. The house is adorable, neat and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Felt right at home. We did a little kayaking on the lake, which was beautiful. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we made the best of it and enjoyed each other’s company. The neighborhood was very quaint. We took a walk around the lake. Nicole was very responsive whenever I messaged her. We felt very comfortable being there. I would highly recommend this home.

You, was great. Traveling through and not knowing much about the area. Yu gave us so much helpful information. Be sure to ask Yu about their great restaurant in New Haven.

A unique architectural home built 1955 that’s set on 2 plus acres surrounded by mature hardwoods. Set in a lovely neighborhood. Lots of interesting Art and Literature available to enjoy.I had wanted to stay on several visits but this location wasn’t available. I lucked out for 3 nights and so glad I had the opportunity to. I will definitely book again. Gloria was a responsive host. Instructions were clear and detailed. Lots of closet space in the 3 bedrooms and plenty space, multiple sitting areas. Thank you Gloria.

Beautiful layout and views: The living room extends to an expansive harbor view as we opened the door. When we turn around the lofty A frame transitions into the bedroom connected by a wooden spiral stair. Interior appliances are good and functional. Plenty of Pillows and blankets to get cozy. The Weber Grill is great to use. We used public transport and Uber and it was pretty easy to get around - 15 mins to nearby scenes and restaurants.

Met all of our needs to be close to family in the area for an event. It's very spacious and the beds are comfortable. The spiral staircase was steep and narrow, but we made it work. Thanks for a great overall stay!

We had a great stay at Julie’s place. There was a slight hiccup with check-in times but Julie was very communicative and sorted it out promptly. The place itself was great, beautiful waterfront views and a private beach. The weather wasn’t the best but we still made the most of it. The apartment was compact but big enough for 4 adults.

Mia’s place is excellent. Exactly what the listing describes and more — Mia is a great host and super attentive despite us being a last minute booking, she even helped us through a tough time late in the day when I thought my daughter’s stuffie had been picked up by the maid service. Above and beyond!

If we don't give a good review, can we keep this to ourselves?! Patti was a perfect host; the views were fantastic, whether from the outdoor porch or inside through the French doors looking out on the water. Access to the small beach and pool were excellent and we were close to several good restaurants (many of which Patti suggested, including some on the water) for take-out during the pandemic. Wifi was great and everything was very clean and as advertised. We generally fly for vacations and long weekends but had to stay closer to home this year and this was a perfect choice.

The spacious condo was spotless and bright with high ceilings. Plenty of room to spread out. Communication with the host was fast, they were very accommodating. The unit was very quiet and comfortable, easy to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped. I hope this will be available next time I’m in the area!

We had a great time at Julie’s place. Would love to visit again…perhaps in the Fall. Loved the balcony overlooking the Sound. Julie was very responsive to my questions. She got back to me immediately. I would highly recommend Julie’s home!
