Vacation rentals with a patio in Strand Beach

Wendy is warm, welcoming and professional. The unit is just as described (actually even better!). I booked Wendy’s home last minute for a little staycation with my 2 young children. Wendy was quick to respond which was great since it was so last minute. Prior to finalizing the booking Wendy was upfront and told me about her concerns and why the unit isn’t necessarily suitable for children. I really appreciated this and could make an informed decision based on the information provided. I went ahead and booked and it was really perfect for what we needed and the unit worked really well for us. My toddler loved the hot tub and I loved the thoughtfulness behind every single item left in the unit for us to enjoy. As a host myself Wendy definitely inspired me to do more and better for my future guests! Overall lovely experience.

Centrally located, in a secure, serene environment, Home away from home, apartment had everything you can need in a home, host was super friendly and very helpful. The shopping Centre is 5min walk away, the beach 10 minutes The apartment is really homely and peaceful .. The attention to detail on things a guest might require was top notch…

if you are looking for a wonderful, quiet place with a fantastic view where you can drink coffee in the morning and admire the burbs and the ocean and then go for a walk to the beach, this is a great place

I had an absolutely amazing stay with Sophia! She and her husband are some of the best AirBnB hosts I've ever come across. They were accomodating, super responsive and extremely friendly. The place was extremely clean and tidy, not to mention drop-dead gorgeous. The aircons helped during the colder moments, and it was great to have a balcony with a mind-blowing view. Sophia gifted my now fiancée with flowers and bubbles upon our looming engagement. A perfect place to stay over our engagement and Sophia and her husband are gems!

We had a great stay here with our dogs. The place was bigger than expected, and just a short walk from the beach and a lot of restaurants, cafés and shops. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend it for a stay in Strand.

The Writer's Nook is a peaceful sanctuary in a beautiful, safe neighborhood in Somerset West. The space is light and spacious and is beautifully and stylishly furnished. I loved the indoor fireplace, the well-equipped kitchen, and the luxurious bedding. Anel was a wonderful host: Responsive, helpful and very kind. The Writer's Nook provided much-needed solace during a difficult time. Thank you, Anel

Our stay was amazing! The house was easy to find, the instructions to get in were extremely clear, the home was very clean as we entered, and we didn’t have to run out to buy milk for a quick cuppa as we arrived 🤣. This is the 2nd listing that we’ve stayed at from Chanél and, as usual, she was very accommodating and friendly. We really appreciate the effort you put into the place and making our stay peaceful. We look forward to staying here again!

This was our second stay at Henning’s place and we just cannot get enough. It’s such an amazing serene getaway in the most stunning location and beautiful home. We had a wonderful bday weekend playing games, cooking food and the fireplace was a great accompaniment with the cold weather. The home has such an incredible view of the ocean and can be seen from almost anywhere. Truly a special stay one of a kind stay. Hazel is always so friendly and hospitable. Staying here was lovely. The view of the city is gorgeous and the apartment itself is stunningly decorated to give an at home feel. Which it does so easily. The plants in and around the apartment give it such a nice feel too. Overall it was lovely to stay here. walking distance from everything you could need too. Bruce's AirBnb was perfect! Super clean and close to many shops and restaurants. We received lots of recommendations from Bruce which were very helpful. It was super cozy and we LOVED the balcony where you can enjoy the views with your coffee or tea. I would recommend this AirBnb to anybody visiting Cape Town!

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic apartment right in the very heart of Franschhoek - perfectly located for events happening in town. The apartment has everything one would need for a great stay. Mark is a very welcoming and accomodating host. One thing to note - It is directly above two restaurants which can make things a bit noisy - if you want total peace and quiet this might not work for you as the vibes continues into the night but if you enjoy such vibes this is an amazing spot. We will definitely be back!

Zama’s apartment is lovely. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival. We felt safe and made use of the secure parking. The kitchen is generally well equipped, but the pots and pans are not in usable condition. Others have mentioned the long walk to the waterfront. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk if you follow the pedestrian path along the canal. Continue with the canal path opposite the city lodge hotel all the way to the waterfront and it is quite a lovely walk that didn’t feel taxing for us. The canal walk is open between 6am and 8pm. It’s about a 7 minute drive to the furthest waterfront parking. It was a bit noisy. We stayed over a weekend. The restaurant downstairs played loud music from their outside speakers. There was also some traffic noise. We still slept well though and the bed was comfortable. All-in-all it is great accommodation, good value, and excellent location for exploring Cape Town with a car or uber.
