Altefähr - seaside resort on Rügen on the Strelasund

The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

The small guest apartment in the The ground floor of our single-family home is in a prime location in Stralsund with a view of the Strelasund and the island of Rügen and direct access to the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path. It is a one-room apartment with a bathroom and a kitchenette, including a dishwasher and a fully automatic coffee machine. The apartment is comfortably furnished and spacious thanks to the cabinet bed, which can be folded up during the day. A baby crib is provided upon request.

The vacation apartment is located at Frankenwall 26, on the ground floor of a picturesque old town villa directly on the Frankenteich pond not far from the neighboring harbor. The apartment has an open kitchen, a living room with a south-facing balcony and a bedroom with a double bed. In the bright and lovingly furnished apartment you have a great view of the Frankenteich from all rooms, which invites you to relaxing walks. Surrounded only by meadows and fields, hidden behind the village pond, lies the small manor estate with its main house and old stables. For the past five years, we’ve been carefully restoring it, breathing new life into the 1899 estate. On the upper floor of the manor house – a brick building typical for the region – a spacious, light-filled 114 sqm apartment is waiting for you. The old beams are visible once again. The interior is simple and doesn’t distract.

The houseboat has 2 bedrooms, 1 living/dining room, kitchenette with extensive facilities, shower bath as well as a sheltered terrace downstairs and a large sun terrace upstairs with an open view.

The loft-style apartment with high-quality furniture and fully equipped kitchen as well as the two bathrooms (one of them en-suite) are furnished with attention to detail and an eye for beauty. Relax in the infrared cabin, which is located in one of the two bedrooms, each equipped with 180x200 box spring beds, or in the freestanding bathtub. Alternatively, you can relax on the large terrace overlooking the harbor and lighthouse.

Our two identical holiday cottages are located in a separate building next to our main house, each with its own private entrance – quiet and private. The sauna is right next to the natural swimming pond and can be used freely, with towels and bathrobes included. The pond is perfect for cooling off after the sauna. Centrally yet peacefully located, directly by the Small Jasmund Bodden and next to a large nature reserve.

Vacation in the reed-covered farmhouse, island of Rügen

The bright, friendly apartment with living/bedroom and children's room, kitchen and bathroom is located separately in a historic, reed-covered farmhouse directly on the Bodden with views of the Schoritzer Wiek. It is located on the second floor, is cozy and simply furnished. The beauty and tranquility of my home is remarkable. I am on site as a host and have my art workshop here. Behind the house is a garden.
