I enjoyed staying in this peaceful retreat located in the forest. I appreciated the location as it was easy to get to Freeland and central to the rest of the island for the activities I had planned for the weekend. The rental was as described. Great view near Lake. Additional touches like Christmas tree and cookies were nice too. Fridge stocked with milk and eggs was also nice. Large, comfortable place. Very easy checkin.

Stayed here for 9 nights, it's a very special space. A lot of love put in, it's beautifully built and curated with calm and great comfort. I slept so well in the comfy bed, the yard was a gorgeous space to have coffee. The space is airy, has great light, the kitchen is fully equipped, there's two coffee making styles (drip and pod), and we loved making breakfast or taking a walk to one of 4 bakeries in the morning. (and highly recommend Ginger and Scallion is a fantastic Thai noodle restaurant within walking distance that specializes in Khao Soi). It's in a quiet residential neighborhood with a bus stop right at their main cross street. I walked to Fremont (all downhill) and was a perfect hour to admire beautiful homes and streets. The parking spot was awesome to have. Naomi and her husband are so kind and we truly loved staying here. Thank you both for this great space.

Our very short (one night) stay was lovely! The place is clean, bright and renovated, and it actually looked better than in the photos! It’s tucked away - which means it’s a bit of a drive, but also means you’ll meet bunnies and deer in the yard (this made me very happy hehe) 😊

We love staying here! It’s peaceful and relaxing, right off the Galloping Goose for a quick ride or walk and the kids love being able to have a campfire. The place is clean, has everything you need and all the kitchen tools to cook a great meal. Laura is always quick to respond, and my son loved checking out the fire truck!

Well put together and very accommodating! The host really thought of everything. Great place to stay!

Easter weekend spent at the “cabin” was one to remember. We were in awe of the beauty of this cabin and its surroundings- such beautiful panoramic ocean views and large trees, and large yard for our son to play in. We loved having almost all our meals outside, using the bbq, picnic table and fire pit with the beautiful spring weather. Very beautiful spot to stay regardless of your purpose of travel, but especially if you want a place to escape and relax! Also so close, 10-15 mins to beautiful deception state park with beaches, trails etc to explore. Would love to come again and even for longer so we can have more relaxing at the cabin mixed with adventure.

Had a great short stay visiting for a concert. Very beautiful place with a lovely looking garden and bright and cheery space. It was a joy to see all the rainbows lighting up the space in the morning from the window panes. You guys were very helpful when I had an issue and questions. Also love the inclusivity/support for other women and lgbt+ on the fridge and through the home. You know that it is a safe space for any other people looking for a stay. Thank you for having me!

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful spot overlooking the Olympia National Forest mountains surrounded by nature in a peaceful idyllic setting. Especially enjoyed cooking while I was there and sitting on the deck watching the sunset over the snow capped mountains.

The hosts were very graceful and understanding of my anxious dog. They answered all of my questions promptly. The roads in the area are long and windy, so be aware of this in case anyone in your party has motion sickness issues. It was perfect for me as I love exploring new areas. Those from out of town may want to research the controversy surrounding the bear mountain/highlands area and local first nations communities.

Kenny’s apartment was fantastic. Easy access, extremely clean, well stocked, thoughtful and comfortable decor. One of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed in. Highly recommend Bethany’s place if visiting the area. It was spotless, had everything we needed, and our pup felt right at home with the fenced in yard and basket of toys! Loved the large bathroom and private feel. Bethany was super easy to get a hold of and was pleasant every step of the way. We would absolutely stay here again!

Rachels Airbnb was the perfect place for my husband and I while up in Port Angeles for a wedding. well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bed and clean and inviting overall.

Suzanne and Daniel are terrific hosts and their studio is spotless, private and very quiet on a beautiful street. I travel to Seattle frequently and prefer to stay here over other available options. It is also a great value.

The uniqueness of the place becomes evident as you walk through the yard. It's comfortable but not overly manicured. The same can be said of the house. It's a garage converted to a house that still has the garage doors. It was clean, quiet, and surrounded by trees. We loved it—so much so that we will be staying there again next month. Two things of note: 1. If you plug in a couple of hair dryers and blow a circuit breaker, the fuse box is behind the refrigerator. 2. There is a step up to the shower and toilet, which can be surprising if you forget about them when you get up at night. Nothing major, just the quirks of a unique stay.

Our stay was a delight! The space is very welcoming and clean with plenty of amenities available. The surrounding area is very peaceful and private. We would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank you! 😊

This was our second stay at David and Byron’s place. We felt immediately at home and appreciated how warm and cozy the space felt after being outside all day at an incredibly wet and cold regatta for our son. We appreciate how nicely appointed and clean the rooms are, how comfortable the beds are, and how private the whole place feels (yet still close enough to easily access restaurants and shopping).
