Vacation rentals in Stragglethorpe

The cottage is beautiful and perfect for a getaway. I would advise anyone staying there to take flip-flops/sliders for going to and from the hot tub, as you need to walk over the stones on the drive way to get to it. We also had towelling bathrobes, but Sam does supply towels for the hot tub if you don't have them. The kitchen is well equipped although a few more mugs and extra cutlery would be useful. There is underfloor heating in the living area and bedroom but no heating in the bathroom. This did make it chilly for showering. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay and would go back again. The location is perfect for visiting local attractions.

Highly recommended! Beautiful cottages and location, perfect for our group holiday. The kitchens were equipped with all we needed, the accommodations had great showers and comfortable beds. The garden is an amazing outdoor space perfect for summer dining. We really enjoyed our stay and Kirsty was a brilliant host, she was really responsive when we messaged. Thanks again!

Jake was great. This place was basically brand new. It was perfect for the bank holiday weekend if I ever find myself back in Nottingham will stay again.

thank you hosts for being so responsive, for answering all my questions and requests with patience :) my family enjoyed their time there. my only nitpick would be some kitchen utensils were a bit dusty / dirty, and there was no hooks in the bathroom, which made it a bit difficult to hang up clothing. other than that, everything was as advertised and we had a fantastic and memorable stay.

Hollie and Dan were fantastic hosts—always helpful and quick to reply. The check-in instructions were clear and really helpful. The cottage itself is beautiful, with a lovely garden, and it’s set in a breathtaking village with great pubs, restaurants, and a local shop all just a short walk away. ☺️

We had a great stay at Lesley’s place. It was clean and had everything we needed. Our daughters especially loved the private pool. We highly recommend.

Fantastic place for a get away very peaceful. Lovely and tidy when we arrived and the hot tub was ready togo. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. 10/10 weekend. Can’t recommend enough.

We’ve just got back from a long weekend away at the Firs for my bestfriend’s hen do! It was amazing. The house was stunning, completely spotless, and well decorated! It looked even better than the photos when we arrived! Every thing you could need and more in the kitchen (dining stuff/glassware/utensils). There were fresh flowers in a vase on the table when we arrived! Spoke with Andy whilst staying there due to us needing to move some cars around (our mistake) and it was no problem at all, Andy was super friendly and helpful. Bedrooms/bathrooms all clean, along with hot tub and outdoor seating areas! Would recommend it to anyone. And not too far at all from Lincoln! It was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for better! We would love to come back at some point! Also, the new extension was stunning too! Well done and Thank you Andrew! :)
