The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

We are 25 mins from Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket. Accessible to the local village pub and shop which is 5 mins drive. Swallow Barn is situated off a quiet lane in a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside and wildlife. The property is separate but adjacent to our 16th century Grade 2 listed home and we are happy to accept well behaved dogs. Please contact us before booking if you wish to bring them.
