The place is suitable for up to four people (double bed and sofa bed) and is perfect for families with children. There is a lot of space to play, and there are cows, chickens, cats and beehives on the farm. Nearby there are great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. You will find, among other things, three alpine resorts, Hunderfossen Family Park, and a variety of opportunities in Lillehammer city.

The courtyard around the house is well maintained. The farm is in active operation and here you can have a look at various productions. If you, or maybe children, are looking for a trip in the barn, you can ask the farmer. The storage room in the garden can be used as a serving room with space to cover up to 40. If you want to borrow a hot tub, this can be rented.

From the cabin you have immediate access to all activities Hafjell can offer. Hafjell alpine slopes are located right outside the door on both sides of the cabin.

Luxurious and modern cabin (built 2016) suitable for up to 5-6 guests who like dogs :-) Our dog, Mollie, usually runs freely around the property, and she likes to visit our guests. She loves both people and other pets. To keep the price low, we prefer that you bring your own bed linens and clean the cabin before you leave. These services can also be ordered from us in advance. Rendalen is a great area for nature lovers: mountain climbing, skiing, fishing, hunting, trekking and exploring.

Balstad - Stunning view on charming farm

The house has a big living room, nice outdoor area, one big bathroom, new kitchen from 2026 and three bedrooms. The house has air-to-air heat pump, TV without channels and good internett access. The tentans cleans up after themselves and try to leave the place in the same condition as they found it.
