Vacation rentals with a kayak in Stonington

It is a very private location surrounded by natural beauty which allowed us to truly relax. We enjoyed spotting the many birds , little rabbits playing in the yard and watching the golfers at the adjacent club. The house has a modern clean feel with a large open living / kitchen area flanked by large windows all along one side of the property overlooking the fantastic view. The master suite was a highlight with a very comfortable bed and beautiful shower. We would love to stay again and so would our dog! Thank you Marie for your wonderful hospitality!

Perfect location and accommodations for extended family to stay for a college graduation weekend! Clean, spacious and well appointed. Nice views and enjoyed using the kayaks on the bay. Garon’s responsiveness and communication were excellent.

Alan & Alexis’ place was lovely. Exactly like the pictures and so many amenities like coffee machine, baby cribs, high chair, toys and was well stocked with coffee, paper towel, toilet paper, dishwashing tablets etc to make your stay just like st home. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The location was great and very quiet looking over the ocean. The house was very clean. Would definitely return! Highly recommend

This home was beautiful! The location had amazing views, very quiet but lots of restaurants/ coffee shops/ activities nearby. Cindy was so welcoming and responsive, would recommend to anyone!

Great little house. Very well stocked and very clean. High quality all around! Little beach area is very rocky so not for lounging but a great launch point for small boats. Water in the area is very calm. Neighborhood is very quiet and cute with lots of amenities.

Perfect stay! The location was private, beautiful and safe and also close by to Oceanside restaurants. The house was perfect for my husband, toddler and infant with lots of room to run around outside. Waking up every morning to coffee with a sunrise over the pond and the fireplace on was heaven. Thank you for the magic memories!

We enjoyed staying at Mitchell's place while attending a family event. I particularly enjoyed meditating by the lake. Great spot!

Leann's home is the quintessential Airbnb! So many personal touches, she over communicated and was available to help with trip planning and give recommendations on what to do in the area. The couch was legit the sinkiest, most comfortable couch EVER. The bed was great and the outdoor shower was so refreshing! Leann also had beach chairs, towels and an umbrella which made our beach day SO easy. Would highly recommend and please know you'll be in great hands if you stay here!

Quaint home, we slept comfortably in the main bedroom. Beautiful surroundings and view off the deck. I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area.

This place has so much charm! Clean. Comfy beds and linens. Well stocked kitchen. Everything you nee to feel right at home. Very safe neighborhood.

Nice little spot with boats on the pond. Went there for my son’s Wesleyan graduation and could take family out on the kayaks.

For seven days, the earth stood still with me in this little cottage on the lake. Listening to the rain falling on the trees, watching the water ripple across the lake and feeling the breeze hit my face on the deck were what I needed to rest for a bit in this quiet oasis. We loved staying at this lakehouse! Our kids loved the bunk beds and we had everything we needed to make full breakfasts and dinners. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and clean. The neighborhood is very peaceful and if you need anything, Westchester Market is only 5 minutes away. If you visit the market and run into Kurly (you'll know him when you see him), you'll get lots of local recommendations and an entertaining conversation. Doreen is a wonderful host and gave us lots of recommendations for local restaurants, all of which were great. We stayed here for a week and highly recommend this cottage.

Clean and cozy cabin. Close to Mystic without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed a night by the fire with a friendly local fisherman. It worked nicely for our short trip to the area.

We’re so glad we found Paul’s rentals at Stonington Marina! This is a wonderfully unique stay in a great area with lots to do, and Paul’s cottages at the marina provide a peaceful, homey place to relax and enjoy. It was great to kayak over to Sandy Point and enjoy the beach like a local. If you want to catch and prepare your own fish, he’s got the stuff for that in the patio/fire pit area. Or you can get some fresh catch in nearby Stonington borough. Otherwise there’s a host of excellent restaurants nearby and Paul’s recommendations will steer you well. The cottage itself was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Again, a great find!

We had the most peaceful, relaxing weekend at lakeside landing! The house itself is a 10 out of 10, absolutely adorable and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was sooo comfy and the views are just amazing! We enjoyed paddling around the lake during the day and the fire pit and hot tub at night! We didn’t leave the house once!! Highly recommend:)

Had a great time in this peaceful wonderful setting. Saw and heard maybe 40 bird species. (Using Merlin app). Frogs and turtles too!everything we needed! Beds are very comfortable!

Great camp and peaceful area. Angela is a great host and very accommodating. I have stayed twice and would definitely come back again.

The lake house is absolutely charming. We easily made our way around Coventry and UCONN. We enjoyed our evenings overlooking the lake. Our favorite was definitely the record player and disco lights, the neighbors hopefully enjoyed the light show through the windows!! lol Thank you for a great stay, see you again soon
