Dawn’s place is private, well-appointed and in a fantastic location. You have an ocean view from the cottage, have access to a small semi-private beach, and a brief walk along the coast via the gorgeous neighborhood takes you to the larger Ocean Beach & boardwalk. Additionally there are very good restaurants, state parks, museums and pubs nearby. You’ll feel pampered by Dawn’s consideration and attention to detail and refreshed by the location and beaches.

We enjoyed the coziness of the pool house during our Thanksgiving stay. The location was close to our family and friends. It was private and quiet. Alice responded promptly to our questions. We would like to return when the weather is warmer to take advantage of the pool and the outside surroundings. The Goulds

My husband, son and I just returned from spending an absolutely fabulous week at the Harborview. I really can’t say enough good things about the house, location and host (Kristina). We’ve been vacationing on Block Island for years and have been staying in a B&B. Decided to try something different this year and I’m so glad we did. The house is spacious, clean, well equipped. Returning home after a day at the beach, I really felt like we were coming “home”. Town is close, but we enjoyed the quietness being a little outside of the center. Super close to both Scotch and Mansion beach. Kristina even invited us to their sister property, the Barrington Inn, to watch the 4th of July parade. I’m not sure we’ll ever stay anywhere else!

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

I will book again and again. The comfort of the bed and shower was fantastic. The appliances were updated and I will recommend this little piece of solitude Heaven. It’s like a wee nature refuge and Perfect location. The hosts were attentive and kind. A million thanks!

Nicole's converted carriage house was perfect for our short stay! we were impressed with how well furnished the place was and how cozy it was (the heated bathroom floor was really a treat!). we were in and out a lot through our visit and it was easy to come and go. overall 10/10!

We loved our stay with Gary and Cindy! Cindy met us and showed us around. She kindly offered books for our kids and showed us her beautiful plants. They have lots of grandkids so they were happy to let our kids run free in their yard with their dogs, which my kids loved. The kids loved the little cubby hole beds and the cottage was comfortable and cozy. Cindy even had muffins and flowers awaiting us in the cottage. Highly recommend!

This is a fabulous place to stay! Beautifully decorated and all the comforts of home. Andrew and Jessica were gracious hosts and great communicators. We will definitely stay again!

Staying at Casey’s cottage was very nice. It was peaceful and very comfortable. The neighborhood was very nice with easy access to I-95. She was a great host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely love staying here. The guest house is perfect. It has everything you need & a beautiful upstairs bedroom. The location is phenomenal, in a gorgeous neighborhood right near the beach!! I highly recommend this wonderful home!!

Mara and Ross are wonderful hosts, very caring and helpful and lovely. Everything about our stay was perfect and super comfortable. There are very thoughtful touches throughout the house. The location is perfect - it's quiet and beautiful yet close to busier locales like Mystic. Five stars.

We had a wonderful stay at Reninca’s and Scott’s house in Essex! The house was spotless and exactly as shown in the pictures. The downstairs living space was well equipped for coffee in the morning and an evening in watching Netflix. My dog came with us as well and really enjoyed the spacious fenced in yard space. A “must stay” Airbnb for your next trip to Essex!

Stayed here one night for a visit to Mystic, easy quick drive from attractions and simple check-in. We absolutely loved the location, extremely quiet, private, and cozy. Perfect spot for a quick trip, very kid friendly too. Awesome games table, and very sweet welcoming party of 3 adorable dogs. We loved our stay and would definitely consider it again in the future! :)

The apartment and property is lovely, and was more than enough space for my husband, 2yr old son, and dog. The neighborhood is quiet, and it had a nice location proximate to different beaches and wooded trails. We really appreciated the easy check-in and keypad since we had to arrive pretty late at night. Melissa was also very responsive and helpful! Though we were hoping for waves and got skunked on surf, we had no trouble finding other stuff to do.

Peter and Vicky’s place is a beautifully situated and thoughtful space. We felt completely at home and loved all of the nice touches that made our stay feel comfortable. We loved exploring the books made available and looking out the windows into the tree tops. Exploring the local area is easy with only a short walk to the beach or woodland area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful escape.

My wife and I had a lovely two day stay. We were so pleased with the cleanliness and decor. Barbara was very communicative and helped. We highly recommend this place.

Daniel’s place was clean and well-equipped. He even provided us with snacks for our stay. He struck the perfect balance of being helpful with recommendations and also letting us do our own thing while on vacation in the area. Would definitely recommend!

This place is fabulous—has the perfect amenities, is nicely decorated, and is the perfect location in Madison. We were in walking distance to “downtown” shopping district, restaurants, and the beach. The rental is very comfortable and relaxing. Great get-away. The host responds quickly to questions and left a great list of local restaurants.
