El Sol was the perfect place for our little getaway! It was clean, cute and cozy, the perfect spot for my husband and I. I liked that it was located just close enough to town without it being a long drive, but also tucked away enough to be away from the city. We saw 5 deer on the property during our stay! All in all El Sol made our trip a great one and we can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend staying at The Martinsburg! Clemens & Audrey are fantastic hosts who are so accommodating and friendly. The homes at The Martinsburg are the coolest tiny homes that felt secure, private, and cozy. Clemens & Audrey fill the home with thoughtful details, with everything you could need, down to dog bowls and dog treats if you indicate that you'll be bringing your pets with you. The retreat really immerses you into the charm of Fredericksburg, with local recommendations and even locally-sourced soap used in the home.

Had the best time at this place! It's a 20 minute drive from Wimberly, but when you're there, it feels completely remote. The hot tub was great, even in the summer heat, and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked, and it was easy to bring some groceries and make a meal when we weren't having dinner in Wimberly. Getting cell signal was tough out there, but that made it easy to finish my book! There is also a lot of fun nature watching through the windows and on the patio. I would come back here again.

This was my second time staying at this amazing place, and it won’t be the last! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the Hill Country, close to all the best shopping and fun spots like Wimberley. After a fun day out, coming back to this clean, fresh, and super cozy home was just what I needed. The host was also kind enough to offer a late checkout, which was such a nice bonus. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to my next stay!

We stayed at the blanco cabin and it was a great weekend getaway. The cabin was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. The hot tub on the deck was really nice and already heated when we arrived. It was a peaceful retreat in nature but still close enough to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay again!

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

This stay was exactly what my husband I needed! I just sat outside and listened to the birds early in the morning, something I also love doing at home. I could've sat outside all day if it wasn't Texas in June! ha! The cabin itself was just as described. The photos do make it seem a bit bigger but honestly, you don't need bigger for 2 people. We went to Canyon to just spend time on the water. After over doing it the first day, we instead, chose to spend our second full day just enjoying the cabin. We had some hot tub time in the afternoon, played board games for a couple of hours, and just rested! For anyone worried about how close the cabin is to the main house, don't worry! It's positioned for privacy! It was so stinking relaxing and I can't wait to go back.

John and Suzanne, Thank you so much for the lovely stay at your 2 bedroom cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our quiet weekend away. We especially appreciated how close it was to Perdenales Falls State Park and that you allow pets – that was a big bonus for us! The place is quite secluded but absolutely beautiful and quiet . If you're looking for peace and quiet... this is the place !

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary and Easter at this beautiful property! We loved that it was secluded and we were able to enjoy sitting on the back porch and watch deer. One of the special treats…They provide farm fresh eggs, Coke, Coke Zero, hot tea, and coffee. Additionally biscuits & o.j. (When you let them know)! There was a storm that came in and we felt safe, never lost power, and they checked on us to make sure we were ok! We were not focused on tv time or our phones, but internet is limited. The location is secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. There are games and a dvd player with movies, and books too! The drive is absolutely gorgeous, but it does take about 25-30 minutes to get to Fredericksburg. Which was perfectly fine with us to enjoy time together! The time we spent at the cabin was perfect! You’ll definitely want to grab your bags and reserve your stay now!

This place is one of the prettiest places I have ever been too! So peaceful and quiet. You feel like you have this whole place to yourself. The sunsets were stunning! I can’t wait to go back.

If you’re looking for a place to sit back and relax, this is it. Grab yourself a book and a drink and sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! Enjoyed the stay!

This stay was beautiful from the sights, the people, and the community of little houses. I loved this place! The staff is so friendly, one helped me carry my bags in the rain! There are trails all over the property—follow the stacked rocks or you might get lost! All in all a wonderful place to relax, do yoga, hike, interact with others, and enjoy the outdoors with ac.

We had a nice time! Very peaceful, clean and quiet place. I like that has minimal decors and spacious. Dana and Kelsey were excellent in communicating and messaging us about their instructions.

Such a fun cabin! Very cozy and clean. The hosts were very helpful and flexible. Loved the local recommendations and complementary drinks. This stay was an extra plus being so close to the wineries and a cute chocolate shop. The instructions were accurate in finding the place. Bring cold food or food for toaster oven is best. Beds are super comfy and I appreciated the air purifier! Loved the decor and porch area. Thank y’all for the perfect getaway!

What a great place with a great view, seen about 100+ deer every day that we were at the room( which wasn’t the whole day), great little touch with the garage door that opens to the back porch, Caroline was very helpful and responded in a reasonable time frame , would recommend this gem to anyone looking to stay in hill country of Texas … great space and super clean, private and not on top of other cabins , perfect for a couple getaway..

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Check in couldn’t have been easier, and we loved everything about the cabin. It was so clean and comfy, and the large shower was amazing. Highly recommend!

My only criticism is that, based on the location, I assumed we'd have direct access to a lake front view. If you squinted through the trees you could see the water. Rightfully so, the host had instructions about not roaming the grounds because of other units. We drove to a nearby trail that had access to trails by the lake but while we were there these trails were closed (not the hosts fault). We had a great time at this beautiful unit.

Great place to relax and unwind away from the noise of the city. The view was gorgeous and hosts were very responsive. Really enjoyed visiting the Twin Sisters dance hall for some good music and fun. Will definitely be back!

Clayton was an awesome host. They had perfect instructions to get to the cabin and the surrounding land was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely go again for a getaway!

Staying in this converted school bus was such a unique and memorable experience! The setting is absolutely gorgeous, and the vibe is fun, quirky, and full of heart. The passionate hosts have filled the space with creative touches—games, scavenger hunts, and surprises that make exploring the land a joy. It’s a little rustic but still super cozy and comfortable. The animals (goats! chickens! bunnies!) add so much charm, and you really do leave with a new perspective on nature and simple living. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and experience something truly special!

Third time to stay at Melissa’s and we will keep coming back. Great location to our favorite wineries. Melissa even gifted us a bottle of fabulous red wine for being returning guests. Highly recommend this place!
