Amazing place! If you're looking for a calm stay away from the most touristic areas this is it. Lovely decorated and close to a perfectly empty beach. We really loved it, hope to be back soon. Can totally recommend this place especially for families.

My stay here was great. It's a walking distance to the Kuza caves. It's on the beach and the pool is heated, so you can swim at night. Loved the sea view from the room. The breakfast is awesome too, with a variety. Overall it's a very good place I'd highly recommend.

Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage im "Mbuyuni beach village"! Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit ohne fragwürdige Corona-Maßnahmen gehabt. Für Naturverbundene welche das urtypische Sansibar suchen und nicht den westlichen Luxus zelebrieren wollen (müssen) eignet sich Mbuyuni ideal. Für die Möglichkeiten und Gegebenheiten in Jambiani auf Sansibar ist die Organisation, das Essen, die Sauberkeit und alles Weitere wirklich sehr gut! Wir kommen gerne mal wieder! Der Strandabschnitt ist leider zum baden etwas ungünstig weil abgestorbenes Korallengestein stört. Zum baden muss man ein paar Minuten laufen.. . Aber alles Andere war wie erwartet und sogar etwas besser! Liebe Grüße Peter und Marina

Unser Happy-Place auf Sansibar (English review please see below) Wir durften im August zwei Nächte bei Leila und Abbas im Laguna Palace verbringen und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Wir hatten die Wohnung mit der riesigen Dachterrasse. Diese war mit Abstand die am liebevollsten eingerichtete Wohnung unserer gesamten Sansibarreise. Die Wohnung selbst war luft- und lichtdurchflutet, unter dem Moskitonetz liess es sich nach einem Blick in den tollen Sternenhimmel von der Dachterrasse inmitten des Dschungels gemütlich schlummern. Leila und Abbas, mit denen wir zwei tolle Abende verbringen durften, sind herausragende Gastgeber, die uns wie Freunde begrüßt haben. Auch das gesamte Team im Laguna Palace ist super- Winny servierte uns nicht nur das leckere Frühstück, sondern begeisterte uns an einem Abend beim gemeinsamen Abendessen am Pool mit ihrem "Octopus-Curry mit Kokos-Reis". Den Abend ließen wir dann bei Wein, Bier und netten Gesprächen am Lagerfeuer ausklingen. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß (barfuß ist möglich) erreichbar, der Sonnenuntergang in der Kae Funk Bar ist ein absolutes Muss. Wir waren traurig, dass wir nach nur zwei Nächten wieder abreisen mussten und ärgerten uns, dass wir nicht länger gebucht hatten. Herzlichsten Dank liebe Leila, lieber Abbas- wir kommen ganz sicher zurück! Our Happy Place on Sansibar We had the luck to spend two nights in Leilas and Abbas "Laguna Palace" this year in August and enjoyed the time there a lot. We slept in the apartement with the huge roof terrace, this appartement was by far the most adorable accomodation of our whole Sansibar trip. The flat was airy and lovely decorated, the view from the roof terrace into the jungle or in the night into the starlit sky was amazing. Leila and Abbas were perfect hosts, they welcomed us as friends and made us feel at home. We spent two very funny nights with them including a delicious dinner (the Octopus-Curry of Winny is great) and later a nice and relaxed chat at the bonfire. They also have a very nice team in the Laguna Palace and they offer a very good breakfast. The walk to the beach - u can walk barefoot - takes only a few minutes, the sundown at the Kae Funk Bar is a must do. We were very sad that we only booked two nights, thank you so much Leila and Abbas, we will come back for sure!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

Kimte war unsere erste Unterkunft (von insgesamt 4 Unterkünften der 2-wöchigen Reise). Schon vor Ort hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und auch rückblickend war Kimte für uns die beste Unterkunft der Reise. Besonders toll war das gesamte Team, unser selbst gewählter Schlafplatz draußen im Hängebett, ein leckeres buntes Frühstück - unter anderem mit Brot und Saft, was woanders nicht immer der Fall war. Auch der Standort war für uns perfekt - etwas ruhiger vom sonst belebtem Strand, natürlich geblieben und dennoch mit bestem Platz mit Meerblick von der Bar aus. Auch rückwirkend positiv zu erwähnen: wir hatten immer Strom und Wasser, was woanders auch nicht immer der Fall war. Danke für den tollen Einstieg in unseren Urlaub und die schöne Zeit bei euch. Sollten wir eines Tages wieder nach Sansibar reisen, dann kommen wir auch wieder zu Kimte <3

Utupoa made me feel so at home, that I didn't want to leave at all :) I stayed for a week and felt so welcome. Joyce is an amazing, kind and very cool woman! With soo many interesting storys, I could listen to her for hours. But not only Joyce was great, her staff was lovely as well and helps with everything. The food is very delicious and freshly cooked. Utupoa is so, so beautiful with a fascinating garden and a huge mainhouse, with lots to see. I love, love, loved the view! The beach is great aswell and much quieter than other places, with viewer beachboys. Snorkeling is awesome with plenty of sealife to see. Mnemba Island is not far away and a must do for diving or snorkling - breathtakingly beautiful! I enjoyed the dinners with the other guests and Joyce, we had lots of fun. I met super cool people :). Utupoa is a home away from home with so much character, heart and sunshine. I would go back any time and hope I can one day. Asante sana Joyce!

Пребывание в Kipinda запомнилось хорошими завтраками и отличным гостеприимством. Интерьеры комнат выполнены в этническом стиле, все просто, но при этом вполне эстетично. Для охлаждения используются потолочные вентиляторы. Расположение удобное, внутри старого города.

房间和图片上看起来一模一样，床软硬适中我睡的很好，老板很友好，我预约了接机，到了民宿以后还要走一小段路，我有两个行李箱总共92斤，司机全程帮我提行李，另外老板给我推荐了个很好的导游，和我在一起3天，全程陪伴着我，他帮助了我很多，很安心很安全，也很开心，之前的顾虑都是不必要的，推荐。

Kiponda was clean and we LOVED the AC after weeks of not having it at our other stays. It actually felt luxurious in comparison. The hotel is perfectly well located and the hosts were so great about finding us a fantastic Taximan! Stay here for a nice place on a budget. You can also find the hotel on google maps quite easily.

Second time staying with Khalid and it’s always better than the last because each time it’s more personal and Khalid thank you sincerely!

Jambiani比paje更chill，建议可以向rose租借motorbike探索会很有趣。房源入住虽然有些小状况，但rose会想办法帮忙解决，屋子里有可爱的狗狗和一对猫猫，很惬意

Beautiful stay at Lalacabana, room was gorgeous and clean, beach was a 2 minute walk away with wonderful restaurants, and the amenities were everything you need and more (lovely pool and even lovelier restaurant for great prices). Thank you Lalacabana!

Eine wirklich süße Unterkunft. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Wir waren insgesamt 8 Tage hier zu Gast und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag anders, immer mit einem Teller frischem Obst und gutem Kaffee. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist etwas salzig aber nichts worüber man sich beschweren sollte. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder.

Laura's place was absolutely fantastic. the house itself has so much charm, it's cozy, well decorated and very comfortable - you find thre everything you need. the outside are with pool and private beach-garden is stunning with breathtaking ocean view - it's literally on the beach. The beach in front of the house is very calm but in the same time by walking lots of things to do in the surrounding, restaurants, small local shops, etc. we really wish we could stay longer... but definitely we will come back!

Jos is very welcoming and did her best to make us comfortable and was very responsive. Her place feels like home as it has an openness to it that makes you feel like you’re visiting a relative or old friend

The breakfast is delicious, and everything you could need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided. Unser Aufenthalt in Kizimkazi übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Da diese neue Unterkunft nur für 8 Personen (4 Zimmer) ausgelegt wurde, ist man manchmal alleine in der Anlage, am privaten Strand und beim Essen. Wir wurden überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt, in Bezug auf Essenszeiten und Auswahl der Speisen, die für uns frisch zubereitet wurden. Die Anlage befindet sich mitten in einem kleinen, gut gepflegten, tropischen Wald. So hatten wir jeden Morgen ein Konzert von einer prachtvollen, heimischen Vogelwelt. Durch die Gezeiten kann man nur bei "High tide" schwimmen. Es gibt dort keinen typischen weißen Sandstrand, sondern man gelangt über etwa 5 Stufen mühelos ins Meer. Das Wasser ist klar, nur zwischendurch gibt es etwas Seegras. Um problemlos mit privaten Taxis ( damit kommt man in Zanzibar überall hin ) zu dieser Unterkunft zu gelangen, muss man den lokalen Namen: "Salida Beach" nennen. Wir empfehlen diese schöne Unterkunft für alle die Ruhe, Entspannung und Natur suchen.
