Absolutely loved our stay at Kirkjuholt Guest House 5. Sigrud provided so much helpful information and was very responsive to our inquiries. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The accommodations had everything we needed and there were additional touches like Nespresso coffee maker and some kitchen necessities that we weren’t expecting! I really appreciated all of the information Sigrud shared including which local stores and restaurants, which was so helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

10 min from Selfoss, the property is a good starting point for the Golden Circle and the thermal river. The landlords even made a small video on how to find it. Due to the seclusion, we were lucky to see aurora lights right outside our front door. The place has everything you need and we felt very much at home. If you have any questions, we received a response within a few minutes. Thank you for having us!

Dana was an extraordinary host who went above and beyond to help make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Very responsive and friendly and easy to approach. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable which can be quite rare. Everything was perfect. The place was immaculate and the location was exactly where I needed to be to decompress. Ragnar has been really kind and helpful, and always responded to our queries in a reasonable time. He greeted us in person on the day we checked in his house, which left us a great impression. The house, located in a peaceful and quiet village, was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay there a lot.
