Monthly Rentals in Stokes Bay

Really happy with this booking. Staying for 6 weeks meant it needed to be right. The cottage is a small and private spot with good access to local shops and transport. Communication was excellent and friendly and we didn't have any problems at all. Photos were true and I would recommend it to anyone considering a short or longer stay.

A very delicate place perfect for a short break. It is at walking distance to the beach, and the whole community is really peaceful and quiet. The room has everything that I needed, from hair dryer to umbrella. The snacks in the fridge were surprising. The hot water for showering is really chilling. Also, Samantha the manager was really helpful, warm, and supportive. Overall, this is an experience beyond my expectation. Definitely will recommend it to others who want to travel to Portsmouth

We are so pleased that we have found Rachel and Solent Retreat. The location is perfect for us to visit family. The accommodation is excellent, comfy bed, great shower and wet room, fluffy towels and bathrobes and was spotlessly clean. We received a lovely welcome from Rachel along with cup cakes and wine. Whilst we know the area well, Rachel took the time to make sure we were settled in and we will be very pleased to return again. Alverstoke is a lovely village with great restaurants and Stokes Bay to enjoy. A home from home.

We were there for 9 nights and we felt right at home the minute we walked inside. The property is nicely laid out and has everything you need and it is well presented and in pristine condition. If you are visiting Gosport and need a base you can’t go wrong with choosing this property. Dave & Kate were great host and gave us our privacy but were on hand and responded quickly to any enquiry we had. We would highly recommend.
