Beach house vacation rentals in Stokes Bay

Janette and Herb run a fantastic Airbnb. We stayed for 5 nights and found the place extremely comfortable and well provisioned with everything you could possibly need. Herb is a great host and gave us some local tips, and helped us out when we needed something. I strongly recommend this if you’re looking for accommodation in the area.

What a beautiful spot. Every afternoon we enjoyed wine and snacks on the deck whilst watching the dolphins play in the ocean immediately out front. In the evenings we cooked dinner in the well appointed the kitchen, which had everything we needed, and then relaxed with a movie or a game a pool downstairs. Every morning we woke to stunning views of the ocean. During the day we explored the island as this property was very easy and convenient to everything. Really close to the Penneshaw town centre, not far from KI Brewery or the wineries, and an easy drive to Seal Bay or Flinders Chase. Everything in the home was spotless and decorated nicely. We were surprised how quiet the home was and would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend a stay here!!!

Great place to stay, clean, voluminous and fully equiped. Perfect area in front of the beach. An extra bonus for the mattresses and the electric heated toppers.

Great house for our group of 12, lots of room downstairs and up, nice views, right on the beach and walking distance to the jetty and pub (400m) we'll be back.

This has to be one of the most special air bnbs on the planet. Private bay and coastline, kangaroos and wallabys surrounding the house, gorgeous island to explore. Stokes bay is the coolest beach entrance I’ve ever seen. Amazing sunsets. This is a fairly remote place and the warnings are real, even in calm seas the current is strong, and animals did try to enter the house - do keep the door closed! But when we had a small issue, Stacy came over in 10 minutes and got us sorted. 20 minutes from the house to the local grocery, other than that, good to plan ahead for food. Fantastic kitchen and gas grill, easy to prepare at home. Bucket-list destination for sure.

We loved our week and KI and staying at Jayne’s was a highlight. The house has been lovingly maintained with beautiful gardens and backyard. Jayne was very helpful in recommending local activities which were all brilliant. We feel very lucky to have stayed at Jayne’s place and can understand why it is so popular! We would recommend to friends and family.

What can I say ... priceless views and a house that had LITERALLY everything we could have asked for... we created a memorable moment in time and we have Julie to thank for that 🙌🤗🫶

Most beautiful location, photos didn’t do it justice. House was very well equipped, everything we needed, including a coffee machine. Melanie was a wonderful host, responding immediately to our needs. Highly recommend.

Our third stay at Doyle's, and each time it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful bush noises, modern amenities - this place has it all! So much space and plenty for everyone to do! The Starlink internet is SUPERFAST!! Thanks for that upgrade lol Special mention to Craig and Rachael, the wonderful custodians. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. This time they wrote a beautiful card for us that really touched our hearts! ❤️❤️❤️

This house was such a lovely part of our holiday. We had a baby with us so spent quite a lot of time at the house and it was well equipped with everything we needed. The spa and pool table provided constant entertainment and the kitchen equipment was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals from home. Marnie was lovely to communicate with and was very accommodating for us and the baby. The beach was a close walk and was absolutely pristine! We would definitely come back here for a holiday!

We had a wonderful few days at Hawks Nest and were very sad to leave this beautiful place. The location is amazing, with a pristine private beach, breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife, while the house is very comfortable with excellent amenities. My kids loved the pool and the beach and were very excited to watch the kangaroos every evening. Kirsty and Chris are fabulous hosts and were very welcoming. The guest wing feels private and yet the hosts are conveniently there offering useful information or a friendly chat. We only had three nights on Kangaroo Island, with a busy itinerary taking in just some of the many amazing sights and experiences. We wish we could have spent more time relaxing at the property and exploring the creek and beach so we're already planning a longer return visit to the Island and hoping we can stay at Hawks Nest again.

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

This place was even better than the photos, super clean, stylish, and in a perfect location. Loved the little touches like fresh coffee and local recommendations, it really made the stay special.

Fantastic house for multiple families. Had everything you need, even the deep fryer for the fish we caught. Perfect location, right on the beautiful ocean. Definitely would come back again and will recommend to others.

Perfect place for a fantastic girls weekend on the beautiful Kangaroo Island.

We have stayed at Casa Willyama on a number of occasions and have always loved our time there. The house is always well presented and has all the facilities to make the stay comfortable. It is in a fabulous location opposite the beach and within walking distance to the national part. We look forward to our next visit.

The most wonderful home! After 6 months of travel, this was the nicest place to stay and relax. Gorgeous view of emu bay. Within minutes we were driving on the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy! So relaxed and luxurious. Great kitchen including kids cutlery and plates which we much appreciated traveling with a 1yo and 3yo. The host was very helpful in providing a high chair. Also the laundry room was well equipped. All felt new and clean. Very nice outdoor area with good bbq. Watching the sunrise and sunset from this property was a treat.

Great location with a fantastic view. Could do with a few upgrades but overall I would have no issues coming back again. Both host excellent service and always answered my questions. The view is the best on the island in my opinion.

Hide and Seek is a cozy centralised residential in Marion Bay, SA that is conveniently located to local amenities with beautiful surroundings; albeit the strategic location the residential offer privacy and tranquillity. For nature enthusiasts Innes National Park provide Australia native wildlife in their natural habitat, with prestine beaches Yorke Peninsula coastline is a sight to behold and are simply worth the drive; groceries/petrol kiosk stores are far in between and AWD/FWD is highly recommended. Thank you Rachel and Iain for being such a fabulous host, Hide and Seek exceed all expectations and the complimentary Innes National Park pass was unexpected and truly appreciated; I will definitely be back again in the near future!!
