Romantic Hideaway Near Wells

DaveRating, 5 stars5 days ago
It’s cliché, but I really don’t write reviews often and I’m writing this one because I was so impressed. It is very clear that a LOT of attention to detail and hard work has been put into this place; it’s immaculately clean from top to bottom and the design of the place has been done exceptionally well. You effectively have a full kitchen with top quality equipment, everything is provided (you could come without anything other than your undies and still be ok) and it looks/feels like a 5* hotel. You get the entire place to yourself and you have complete privacy. The bed is comfy. The sofa and TV area is cosy. The bathroom and shower is great. Everything is brand new and not all worn or broken like some places. WiFi is easy to connect to and works really well. I’d say this place is perfect for a couple who want a romantic place to stay, in somewhere cosy and clean. The only downside to staying here is that you have to go back home! Last thing: the hosts are so friendly and nice!

Unique cosy handbuilt cabin by stream and woodland

JennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I stayed at this cabin with my partner, 3.5 month old baby and German Shepherd for a weekend break. The place was incredible, we loved the creativeness of the space with the cabin being built around the caravan and the peacefulness of the area was lovely. We loved the wood burner and the use of the outside BBQ. The hosts were great, really welcoming, friendly and gave good information for a local walk. We tried their recommendation for the Oak Inn pub and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle.

Brookside Cottage

AmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Brookside Cottage was a fabulous find, a cottage full of character and very homely! Check in was easy, good communication from the host. Location wise it was perfect for us who had a car and wanted to visit Bath & Longleat Safari Park. Parking right outside the door of the house and good value for a group of 7. Would highly recommend.

Private Cottage with Free Parking

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect stay for 2 people, cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean, plus plenty of parking and easy to turn round a trailer, which was important for us. Marie’s communication was exceptional, and we very much appreciated the strawberries and cream, coffee etc, which was a lovely touch. We’re already planning to return and would highly recommend Marie’s cottage.

Coco's Barn, a Stylish Cottage for 2 close to Bath

SandraRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We loved staying in Coco’s Barn! We felt right at home and had everything we needed. As well as a beautifully decorated interior the cottage garden and patio is an added bonus - with lovely lighting at night and the most comfortable outdoor seating. This is a peaceful and rural stay, with great wildlife (birdsong in the morning is fabulous). Never seen so many public footpaths on the doorstep! That said, we found 3 great places for a drink and eats out within easy walking distance (all dog friendly). The stand-out was ‘The Holcombe’ mid- week supper. Superb! Felt so relaxed and comfortable here, Geri is an excellent host and we couldn’t have asked for more.

I cannot say enough kind words and wonderful things about this place. All the 5star reviews are true. And Helen… dear Helen… you are the absolute best! Thank you so much for making me feel at home. It was everything I hoped it to be as a solo traveler…. cozy, quiet, beautifully decorated, peaceful, amazing coffee every morning, hot tub every night, attention to details (the little things that make a difference), bikes to ride the path to Bath or Bristol… I already miss it. Thank you for caring, and giving all your guest a special experience and place to stay.
