Beachfront vacation rentals in Stockholm Municipality

We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

Catharina's place is a gem - as is the host herself! The place is clean and comfortable. Catharina was very accommodating, allowing me to use her kitchen to cook dinner. In addition to being a great conversationlist, she's also an extremely thoughtful host, giving me recommendations as it was my first visit to Stockholm.

I really enjoyed staying with Marcus & his partner. I would definitely recommend their place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Stockholm. Their animals are adorable too!

Vackert plats som inger natur och skärgårdskänsla trots nära till stan. Catja var en fantastisk värd som var snabb på att svara på mina frågor och tillmötesgående med allt. Hon kom till och med och hjälpte oss med instruktioner. Starkt rekommenderas till alla som vill ha en fin och fridfull vistelse. Tack Catja!

We spent six days at Alberto's place in Stockholm last week, and everything was exactly as Alberto described. We were extremely satisfied with our stay at his home and with Alberto, who was incredibly helpful. The location was fantastic; being within walking distance to the metro made getting around super easy, and being right next to the forest gave us peaceful and enjoyable moments. It more than met our expectations in terms of cleanliness and amenities. A big thank you to Alberto for his wonderful hospitality. Zeynep, Mumtaz.

Johannas tiny house and the location are just perfect! The house is located directly by the sea and tastefully equipped. The kitchen is also well equipped - we did not cook, but if you would like to, you'll find really everything you need. For two persons there is enough space in the house if weather should not permit to sit outside. Even then the house permits sea view :-). And we loved the loft :-)!!! We stayed in Johannas place during a business trip and really enjoyed coming "home" back to the island after working days in the city center. Anyhow the place is well connected in terms of public transport by commuter ferry and trains/subway. We enjoyed using a pool boat when regular transport was not available according to our schedule. Johanna provided very detailed information about transportation and activities around the place. Communication with Johanna was always very helpful and friendly :-). We really loved our stay and can absolutely recommend the place and Johanna as host.

Wir liebten jede Sekunde unseres Aufenthalts. Schon bevor wir gebucht hatten, hatten wir eine nette Kommunikation mit Marie. Das Haus ist einfach traumhaft schön. Wir haben uns direkt wie bei Freunden gefühlt. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, es gab Kayaks, einen Grill, Angeln und noch vieles mehr. Wir haben uns keine Sekunde gelangweilt. Jeden Abend sind wir einmal auf über die Insel spaziert. Man kommt auch mit dem Boot schnell nach Stockholm. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. Vielen Dank an Marie für ihre Gastfreundschaft, die nette Kommunikation und dass sie uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt hat. Die Woche war etwas ganz besonderes für uns.

It's pretty hard to add more about Björn and his place than there already is written by others, but I'll try anyway.All the way from getting to the place and the check-in procedure worked flawlessly following Björns guidelines. Getting to Björns place by foot, is a 15 min. joyful walk through an area that could be described as a smaller version of Central Park N.Y. - with a lake where you actually can take a svim. The place itself is just as depicted and with a wonderful view over the park area with Stockholm in the background. There's even a small balcony. Björn is very helpful and communicative, easy to talk to and very open minded, and can give useful tips, not just about the city but also places nearby or further away. Björn himself ... well, he's one of the most sympathetic people I've met, one whom you would appreciate to have as a friend. Then there's Roxy, a Border Collie and Labrador mix. Ask Björn to give you some treats for you to give her and you have a new best friend.

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

We had an amazing stay at Rika's place in Saltsjobaden. It exceeded all expectations and both us and our kids felt right at home from the moment we stepped in. The house is perfectly set up for a family. Everything is super easy to find and the house has everything and more you could ask for. We also absolutely loved the location. It was easy to get to and easy to get around.

Ein sehr schönes Haus. Wir haben es sehr sauber übernommen und die Endreinigung separat beauftragt, was bei den Göße des Hauses unbedingt zu empfehlen ist. Der Kontakt zu Fredrika war ausschließlich online, immer sehr nett. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder, dafür passten die 5 Zimmer mit Schlafmöglichkeit prima. Zumindest die beiden gößeren Betten waren für uns etwas zu weich, aber das ist Gewohnheitsache. Komplette Ausstattung des Hauses, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Draußen ein netter kleiner Pool und ein Gasgrill. Zum gut besuchten Strand im Ort sind es zu Fuß nur 10 Minuten, ebenso zur Bushaltestelle. Von dort kommt man in 25 Minuten ins Zentrum von Stockholm. Ein Einkaufszentrum ist auch in der Nähe. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

We had such an amazing time. The house was a few minutes walk from the sea and a lovely beach area. There was a lovely walk way along the water that took you into the forest. The house was lovely. So well equipped with everything you would need. Absolutely amazing. We will definitely come back. Maria was such a helpful host, very responsive and helpful which really made our stay even better.

Tomas was responsive and proactive. He made sure that we were familiar with the property and addressed any needs we had. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware and eating utensils. The house was well decorated and provided a feeling of comfort. The home's design was fun and unique and the hot tub a perfect end for a busy day!

Könnte man 10 Sterne vergeben, würden wir das tun. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Helena und Magnus sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die keine Wünsche offenlassen. Ob Sauna, ein heisses Bad im Jacuzzi oder die besten Tipps für die Umgebung, man bekommt alles bei den beiden. Für uns ein absolutes Plus: der gemütliche Bauwagen, wenige Meter zum See und - ach- einfach alles.

Great villa in a small town with nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. A really wonderful place to relax. And yust ten minutes walk to a station that brings you to the centre of Stockholm. Sometimes there are planes coming over but I was the only one in my family noticing them. The host Simon does everything he can to give you and your family a wonderful stay. My kids loved this place, for them it was the best of Sweden.

We had the best time at Annika's beautiful cabin! Nestled on the islet of Storholmen it's the perfect place for a tranquil break. The ferry from Ropsten takes about half an hour on the way out to Storholmen sidra. The cabin is idyllic and had absolutely everything we needed. It's well laid out, warm and comfortable and Annika had clearly thought of everything you might possibly need for your stay. The upstairs mezzanine is where the beds are which were really comfortable and cosy and we slept really well. The steps may be a little challenging though for those with limited mobility but were no bother for us. We fell in love with the cabin and the island and enjoyed watching the bats in the evening and looking out over the tranquil waters at night. We went for a morning dip in the sea every day and were so sad to leave it all behind to resume our normal lives. Endroit paisible et au cœur de la nature, Karin vous y accueil dans une ambiance typiquement suédoise. Le logement dispose de tout le confort et de tous les accessoires nécessaires à rendre votre séjour agréable et si vous avez de la chance, vous croiserez même un jeune daim devant votre porte alors que vous êtes seulement 25min du cœur de Stockholm en transports en commun.

We had a wonderful time in Stockholm and Sandras apartment was the perfect homebase: quiet and comfortable with the opportunity to go swimming in the morning (or evening) before exploring Stockholm, which is easily accessible by bus.

Lotta’s place is without a doubt the nicest accommodation I’ve had on Storholmen so far. The cabin is small and very cozy, and you can feel the warmth and care in every detail. Communication was just right, and I was given my space – my privacy was respected. This allowed me to truly relax and unwind. The convenient connection to the ferry and to the city is a big advantage, making it easy to find a good balance between activity and peaceful quietness.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at Nina and Bjorn’s place . Very comfortable and as advertised. About 30 -40 minutes to the centre of Stockholm . Regular local bus and good connections to the Metro . Lovely local beach to walk around . So many things to see in Stockholm and the archipelago. Nina and Bjorn were excellent hosts . We hope to return. Lidingo a nice island.

Wir hatten als vierköpfige Familie eine wunderschöne Zeit in Madeleines schönem Häuschen! Ihr Mann Michael hat uns mit dem Boot abgeholt und ist dann noch Lebensmittel mit uns kaufen gefahren, inklusive Spezialitätenempfehlungen; einen besseren Start in die Weihnachtsferien konnten wir gar nicht haben. Das Haus ist genau so wie beschrieben, ebenso die Ausstattung. Wenn wir fragen hatten, konnten wir uns jederzeit an Michael oder Madeleine wenden. Die Aussicht auf das Wasser ist traumhaft und die Fährfahrt nach Stockholm ein Highlight für die ganze Familie. Bara utsikten gör det värt att bo här! En fantastisk plats med närhet till bad, natur, restauranger, bageri som öppnar tidigt, gångavstånd till tunnelbanan som tar dig downtown på mindre än en halvtimme. Våra kusinbarn från Santa Rosa California fick en underbar vecka och vistelse hos Marlène och Christofer som gjorde det lilla extra för att välkomna dem. Tack! Vi rekommenderar varmt detta boende.
