The Fichtenzauber vacation home was created from old spruce timber. It is located on the outskirts of Riedhausen and is located on the farm grounds in the middle of the countryside. In the immediate vicinity is the Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried Nature Reserve, the second largest moor area in southwestern Germany. This natural experience is within walking distance and offers the opportunity to participate in various guided tours. The area offers numerous hiking and biking trails, natural swimming lakes and a variety of gastronomy.

In der Stadt Kempten ist man mit dem Auto in 5 Min., eine Bushaltestelle ist in Sichtweite. Die Wohnung (90qm) befindet sich im 1. Stock, ist sehr hell und geräumig. Von der Terrasse blickt man auf ein Fauna-Flora-Habitat. Im Umkreis von wenigen KM findt man Wanderwege, Seen u. Skigebiete.

In summer, you can start leisurely hikes right outside the front door. With the Bregenzerwald guest card, you can also use all cable cars for free, and admission to the outdoor swimming pools is included. In winter, ski slopes, cross-country skiing trails and beautiful winter hiking trails await you in the midst of snowy nature.

Our house is nestled in fields that turn yellow with dandelions in the spring and white with snow in the winter. In summer, the scent of mowed meadows blows through the air and as autumn approaches, the fruit trees and the garden directly in front of the apartment bear fruit. Here in the Allgäu you can really be close to nature. Excursion destinations for hiking and cycling are easily accessible from here, but the apartment, garden and nearby forest also invite you to relax in peace.

Loft Remise-Allgäu, 130 sqm, 2 bedrooms & sauna

Built in 1904, the remise was not used for almost four decades and we decided to renovate it from scratch in 2020. The transformation into a spacious residential unit with two bedrooms, an open kitchen and a spacious bathroom in the middle of the village center of a rural community. A lovely, country-style apartment with many historical elements in a refurbished farmhouse. We spent four years, till 2017, lovingly restoring our home and the adjacent apartment, using only the best ecological materials. (eg. wood-fiber insulation, as well as clay plaster on all the inside walls.) You will stay in the attic of our newly built farmhouse. The whole house is a vacation farm with 3 residential units. The apartment is modernly furnished with individual accents from the past. A small balcony with magnificent views of the Allgäu Alps completes our “favorite place.” There is a sauna in the house. It can be used and invites you to relax on cold autumn and winter days.
