Family-friendly vacation rentals in Stephens County

I recently had the pleasure of unwinding at Blue Creek Cabins in Helen, Georgia, and I must say, it was nothing short of a amazing! Nestled amid beautiful sceneries, the cabin offered a perfect blend of coziness, comfort, and picturesque views. The rustic charm of the cabin, coupled with modern amenities, provided the perfect balance between authenticity and convenience. The host of Blue Creek Cabins deserves special mention for their exceptional hospitality. They were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about the comfort of their guests.

We had an amazing time at Jeff's cabin. It was very clean and very quite. Jeff is a wonderful host and was there if we needed anything.

The place was great and super clean. Close enough to town, so you can walk and no need for a car ($10 for full day of parking in town). The loft was awesome since you can wake up with the natural lighting coming from the window, and the bed was comfortable. The downstairs room was great as well. The shower was on the smaller side, and we wish it had a different shower head (like the one with a hose), but overall, very clean and comfortable bathroom. The jacuzzi was great and spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen had everything except a pizza pan, but we managed to make a pizza with a metal tin the oven had inside. Overall was a great experience; the place was really nice, cozy and comfortable. It was close to town, but it was far enough that it was quiet, so we had a really good night of sleep. Definitely recommended and would go back.

Such a nice and cozy cabin for our weekend getaway! Bonnie was amazing and was easy to communicate with! Would definitely visit here again!!

Where to begin..... this cabin is spectacular!!!!!! And what an amazing view and truly peaceful. This cabin is everything that I wanted and so much more. Very clean.... the hot tub water super clean and relaxingly hot. I had seen some reviews that said they wished the back deck was more private but we found that the trees were dense enough that we had all of the privacy that we could have wanted! A few suggestions I have though. Wear thick soled walking shoes as the road is all rocks. Road going up to the house is very steep, be ready! If you are bringing up a trailer I highly recommend parking it at the bottom of the hill ( I read somewhere that there is a place you can park it). There are some good restaurants in the town of Helen and some touristy stores to wander through. One day in the town you have seen everything. Check out Anna Ruby Falls..... it is a half mile hike to the falls but so well worth it!!!!!! Highly recommend the cabin and area, truly amazing stay!!!!!

We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends. I love that the place is very private. There was plenty of room for me and my husband and our four teenagers. It was close to Helen.

Our time at Sweet Comfort was so relaxing and was the perfect place to unwind and decompress from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The cabin was so cozy and the little extras like snacks on the counter was so special. Kathryn was very responsive to messages and so accommodating!

Scotty's cabin is fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean. The kitchen had every utensil you could ever want. We really enjoyed the game room/man cave. It was a big hit! The cabin is a the very top of the mountain and has the best scenic drive. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

What a wonderful property! We visited for our honeymoon and had such a lovely time. Spent a good chunk of our time in the loft, listening to the rain on the tin roof! The forest behind the house is beautiful. I learned that I really love baths while here, as it was a bit too chilly to use the outdoor shower. Didn't mind that at all and it was really nice to scrub down and soak in the tub. We loved how getting to Foxfire and Tallulah Gorge was very quick from this location. White Birch Provisions in Clayton is incredible and you should visit if you stay here. Overall was a fantastic time and we are so thankful we could experience this beautiful, magical place! <3

I’m thrilled we found Aunt Helen’s place in Walhalla, SC. Home is perfect for a long weekend with friends and family. You feel at home when you walk in and it’s a very comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time on the porch swing enjoying the perfect weather. Did some walking around Walhalla shopping and eating in local restaurants. Great place to visit we’ll be back. We’ll be back the host are wonderful!!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Perfect spot for our somewhat last minute getaway. Secluded and quiet, but close to several towns if you want to have supper or listen to a little music. The water right off the dock is deep and swimmable, and the kayaks are great for an easy trip to the main channel of Lake Hartwell. The house itself is beautiful, and comfortable(an important combination). Very clean, with all the necessities that are often absent in vacation rentals(lake towels! coffee filters! salt!). We really loved this lake cabin, and can’t wait to go back.

This was exactly what I needed for a quick solo getaway! The property was beautiful and peaceful. It felt very secluded, but also safe which is important to me when traveling alone. Would highly recommend!

Incredibly unique experience!! The AirBNB itself was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. It is private set away from other structures. We loved the information left for us to learn about the history of the Mill. It is perfect for dog parents with a nice yard space and a really interesting property to take her for walks. Our favorite part was exploring the Mill!! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Very clean, comfortable, and walking distance to downtown, Clarkesville. Quiet neighborhood and a fenced-in backyard.

Our family enjoyed our time at Leslie’s place. Perfect location for our family trip for Clemson graduation. We had enough space and the ground floor made it perfect for the older folks. Strongly recommend staying here if visiting Clemson for any reason. If you have a specific bed requirement, you should note both the mattress and pillows were very soft. As someone who prefers a sturdier pillow and firmer mattress, I did end up using a different pillow my daughter brought us from her apartment. Outside of that I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Would 100% stay here again. Leslie is lovely.

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

exactly as pictured, perfect for a group of friends and awesome location. super peaceful and nice surroundings, clean and tidy. our stay was too short, didn't use the hot tub but it was clean and worked as well.

This was the best family trip we have had. We all had our own spaces with beautiful surroundings. Our entire trip was spent at the house. The pool was perfect and the lake was great for fishing.

Our friends that live down the street from this place were having a birthday get together. We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and it was amazing! Very quiet and beautiful place. Wish we would have had more time to be able to use the pool. Will definitely be back when we come to visit the area.

The waterside view was beautiful and peaceful! The place had everything we needed for a great time at Octoberfest for my husband’s birthday!

Stayed at Helen Hideaway with my wife and 2 kids. My kids enjoyed having their own beds and TVs upstairs. My kids also enjoyed the arcade games in the game room. The hot tub was right outside from the game room allowing my wife to relax while the kids played.

Our group enjoyed our stay! Thank you for having us. Felt like home.
