Vacation rentals with lake access in Steele Creek, Charlotte

This trip was for husband & 2 fishing buddies. Location was good, dead end street with easy access to a nearby launch. The house is nice, modern and has necessary amenities. Kevin even allowed use of garage space which helped a lot to keep the pollen off my boat overnight! A blower was also provided which helped since pollen is high in the area right now. Nice paved driveway, although we had a challenge getting 3 boat trailers to fit. It will only accommodate 2. A nearby neighbor passing by tried to be helpful with our parking dilemma when they noticed us struggling to fit all, although a man across the street came over and was confrontational & opinionated about the circumstance. Not sure why he felt the need to involve himself but it all worked out & we would stay in this place again.

The house was great and its a beautiful lot and view. Kayaks were great.

Julie was such a great host and this property was truly beautiful! The place looks just like the picture and was even more spacious than I expected! This property easily accommodated my group. Julie was very responsive and made sure to give us updates on an issue out of her control. Will be booking again! We’ve already started planning our next trip.

Little Blue was amazing! Kate was responsive very quickly and answered any questions I had! Can’t wait to come back! Can’t beat the view and atmosphere!

Ok you have to stay here! The house is just lovely with beautiful vaulted ceilings, wood beams, bright sunlight filtering through the giant windows and skylights complete with beautiful views. It is designed to feel peaceful, stylish and comfortable. It literally has ALL the things to do and plenty of privacy. I can’t even list it all the amenities in the space given. To top it off the host Allison was beyond thoughtful! There was a little sign to welcome us and she left a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Made us feel like we were staying in the home of close friends. Seriously just rent this one, you WILL love it!

We stayed for Easter weekend. When Jeff came by to check on something for us (he's very responsive) he came with an adorable cupcake cake for our girls. It was already a great stay, but that (pun intended) took the cake. My husband stated that we will for sure stay here when we come down h next time

My husband and I had a great stay at the LakeLife Retreat- our hosts Sherry and Dan were friendly and had many great recommendations for our stay. The co-hosts Sandy and Luna were also friendly and delightful to visit with. My husband enjoyed fishing off the boat dock. The grounds were beautiful and the retreat was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Thank you Sherry!!!

Great great great stay! Everything was perfect except the internet for my boyfriend! They got that fixed after a couple days though and no problems after that! Loved it would love to stay again!

Great weekend spent at Lore’s place. Pictures do not do it justice. Better than we expected. Very clean and everything you would need. The design of inside was beautiful. Every detail Lore has covered and more than you need. Will definitely be back again. Kudos to a wonderful place.

The apartment is beautiful. We had a peaceful stay. I liked the big windows overlooking the lake. I enjoyed picnicking on the dock and kayaking around the cove.

Great condo, spacious and beautiful view on the lake. Perfect for our family size and near a great coffee shop.

Lisa and David were exceptional hosts. Lisa communicated with me many months prior to my father’s stay and was exceptionally kind. She went as far as to speak with me on the phone. The home was immaculate and the style was current with clean lines, plush pillows and was extremely inviting. The area in which the home is located is safe, quiet and private. Access to town (as my father cannot drive) was perfect walking distance to coffee shop, diner, restaurants, town green, library and the college campus. Perfect stay. Perfect hosts.

I have used James many times now to lodge employees from Minnesota while attending training in the Charlotte area. All aspects of our interactions have been EXCELLENT! My employees request to stay there versus a hotel. The amenities, cleanliness, location, and peacefulness of the lake far out weigh anything a local hotel can offer. He's always the first place we look to book. 100% recommended.

This apartment is spacious and comfortable. Nice view and patio. Quick drive to Davidson Main Street. Close to highway. Nice touches like plenty of coffee, tea, trial size toiletries. Wi-Fi worked great. Host responded quickly and I was happy that they didn’t proactively send us a ton of messages checking on us. I also liked that check out was just lock up and leave. No list of chores. 😅 We will stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stunning and peaceful. Such a beautiful oasis. My friend and I stayed one night and didn’t want to leave. The view from inside the cabin is also amazing. The hosts were so responsive and generous. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Serenity Cove was absolutely incredible! The pictures didn’t do it justice! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with some friends. The views were incredible and picturesque. The location was the best of both worlds being far enough from the city to feel like you’re tucked in your own little wonderland but still close enough in case you need to run to the store, go uptown or place a delivery order. The house is stocked with all sorts of things like cooking utensils and games and truly nothing beats just sitting and spending time on their amazing deck. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a spot for a getaway in the Charlotte area.

This home was a very peaceful location with abundant windows and views of the lake. Very private with comfortable beds and plentiful bathrooms for our family of four.

We absolutely loved this place! Stayed here with my family and in laws for thanksgiving. The place is stunning, just as shown in the pictures, very clean, and incredibly well stocked. They thought of literally every details. Hosts were also incredible responsive…we needed a step stool and they dropped off two options within 10 minutes. We will absolutely be back. We enjoyed our visit! The cottage was cozy and close to restaurants and Lake Norman. Mooresville Downtown was quaint and fun - definitely will try and make it out again soon!

This was the best airbnb we have stayed! Andrea was very accommodating, very personable. It was awesome staying at a place that embraces having your dogs with you. Provided space and amenities were just right for our 2 teens, German Shepherd, wife & me. We have family friends in the area, so we are likely to return to this listing. We might bring our own kayaks next time just to balance out our options and in case the pontoon boat isn't available. I will remain a smidge jealous of the kitchen when I get home. My height-challenged spouse might've appreciated a step-stool for some cabinets and for using the clothes-dryer. We appreciated the selection of board games during the rainiest days and that the home seemed to be free of manufactured scents (like scented candles, etc.). Turns out, the water off the dock will yield some fun catfish catches. Cast southward and let it sit about 2 to 3 feet under a bobber. We baited our hooks with doughballs blended with cheese, Italian dressing, & brown sugar. Caught 8 in total during the last 2 days of our stay.

This is a lovely cozy cabin, great for a family for a long weekend. The kitchen is adequately stocked with the basic pots/pans and utensils for cooking. The yard, balconies, and docks are spacious and great for sitting outside. We saw deer and beaver. The front driveway gate makes the space feel private. The rooms are comfortable size. There is only one bathroom upstairs near the bedrooms but has double sinks (and lots of towels), which helped. Bring ear plugs for the insects and frogs that party all night. We would stay here again!
