Juan Carlos and María were lovely hosts, when I arrived they gave me a cup of herbal tea prepared with herbs from their garden. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Juan responded to my messages very quickly. I will stay with them again!

We stayed at this amazing peacock sanctuary in Morelos and it was a wonderful experience. The place is really nice, surrounded by nature and full of spaces with a very nice design. There is a spring, a river and a jacuzzi that made our stay even more special. What we loved most was admiring peacocks and other bird species in their natural state; it is a perfect place to connect with nature. Fernanda, the owner, was very kind from the moment we arrived. She gave us clear instructions and useful recommendations to make the most of the spaces, such as the use of firewood and food. The staff, Claudio and Cristal, also supported us a lot during our stay, which made us feel even more comfortable. It was an unforgettable experience to enjoy as a family, and we would definitely recommend it. The place is much nicer in person than what can be described. Everyone we met here was a true artist! From the home's fascinating designs, to the food, the hospitality, and the location in beautiful Amatlán – everything felt so thoughtful and creative. It was the perfect place to feel inspired by the surroundings and slow down your mind. Already dreaming of our next trip back!

A place in contact with nature and ecology

Definitely a place where I would come back very quietly to spend some time away from the city, calmly.

a good option to connect with nature, privacy, cleanliness and comfort. Missing hot water in the shower and the separate bathroom is not so practical. Very good service and very friendly everyone.

The three of us had a wonderful, peaceful retreat. We learned to cook some of the local cuisine. Enjoyed floating in the pools and stream, massages, walks in the forest, sustainable architecture with bamboo and thatched roofs. The compound is astonishingly beautiful in its natural beauty. We can't say enough about the hospitality of the host and her cooking and knowledge. The peacocks were particularly enjoyable to watch, we never minded their calls. We also found the steps a good daily exercise for us. It was a perfect stay for us who enjoy nature and the sustainable ways in which we engage with it. We also visited the nearby villages and city of Cuernavaca and the archeological site of Xochicalco, which we loved.

The stay was very comfortable and pleasant, we liked the green areas and the common areas (since we were able to enjoy almost all of them), the idea that it is an eco-friendly accommodation totally matches what is shown inside the place, the communication was accurate, the idea of the tampanco to see the sunrise is super nice, and the kitchen, although shared, is very comfortable (it is equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy a delicious coffee).

Julio's place is super quiet and cozy, much more spacious than it looks in the photos. As a host, he is very attentive and experienced, which allows him to guide you on your trip. It is important to consider that the accommodation is shared: The kitchen and amenities are common. This is very clear once you arrive, but if it's your first time in a shared accommodation it can cause confusion at first. It is a place surrounded by nature, so you could find many insects in the room. In our case, it was very rainy and it is understandable that they came out more on those days. Great place to stay!! lots of space and José and Vicenta were super kind and helped a lot during our stay, we forgot our wallet and they texted us immediately, the place was very peaceful, easy to find, very responsive host and super helpful with all the instructions, would definitely come back and stay more days!

We had a truly magical stay at Ana’s place. It was the perfect getaway. It’s a bit hard to find at first but well worth it. Kudos to Dani and Rogelio as well for their amazing cooking.

The host promptly resolved my initial dissatisfaction given by the size of the initial proposal (which I had misunderstood). She offered me an alternative in the Mariposa box, which was excellent! Confidential, very welcoming and warm, a new and very pleasant experience! Rancho Oro Prieto is a beauty!!! If you are looking to travel to the Taxco area and are aware of traveling without harming nature, this is the place where you must stay. Rocío is very friendly and very attentive. Also, you will meet the people of the community. Clean, comfortable, quiet, everything in order. 100% recommended

A charming place, I liked the place, it makes you feel like you're in a village, the views of the lake are very nice and the sunset too, but what I liked the most was the elevated terrace, my pet loved the place, we will surely return. The only thing is that it is a bit far from the valley, which makes it a quieter place without the noise of the city.

The attention of the very friendly staff. Glamping and facilities are great. Its location makes it very easy to carry out various activities related to tours and villages nearby. I would certainly book with them again again.
