We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly cozy and spotless, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We loved the convenience of being located right on the main road, which made it easy to access nearby stores and attractions. One of the highlights of our trip was definitely the hot tub – it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

The place was amazing, the pictures really don’t do it justice. We had three teens and they were entertained all weekend. Everything was clean and organized. So much thought was put into the house, from the full size pots and pans, to the free concession stand snacks, to the prize wheel. Multiple seating areas for dinning, inside and out. I can’t say enough about this house, will definitely make this an annual trip.

Great spot if you have a group of ~8. We didn’t want for anything (plenty of dishes, filtered water, well stocked kitchen, ect) and everyone was able to be included in each space. Large dining table was great for sharing meals and playing games. After a long day of hiking the hot tub was a welcome addition and was very clean/well maintained.

The place was perfect for a peaceful getaway in nature. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus and helped us relax after a full day. The surrounding area was quiet and surrounded by forest, which made it easy to disconnect from the city. The host was very welcoming and responsive. We had a very pleasant stay. The house is located so close to many stores and restaurants. Home is located in a very safe and peaceful neighborhood. Very easy to find and exactly as described. Nomun gave excellent instructions and was very respectful of our privacy and time and prompt with communication if needed. I would highly recommend staying here if in the area.

The most important thing when we travel with our dogs is how secure the fenced in yard is. Dog parents - the fence is very secure. We check every inch of the yard before letting our dogs off leash. The place was cute, cozy, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the neighborhood seemed safe. Tania was a great host. We do want to mention that after booking our stay, we received the house rules which mentions not to flush toilet paper. This may be a deal breaker for some. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Was perfect for our needs. My daughter loved running around the open space. One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in with her. Very little for a little one to get into and the gates were great for keeping her and the dog where we needed them!

Beautiful, spacious home. Had the amenities that were listed. Will need to bring shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and extra rolls of toilet paper, and this is listed in the details. The home was spotless and welcoming for our executive team retreat. How to instructions were provided and worked perfectly. Grateful for this opportunity to share dedicated time with my team in a space that allowed everyone to have personal space even when sharing a room. The bedrooms are enormous and lovely.

We had a great stay, everyone-ages 2-70, enjoyed themselves. We loved the river view and plenty of areas to gather. It was good however, that there were many of us to keep an eye on the 2 year old, who loved exploring the many steps and rooms with some items we wanted to keep him from.

We had a great time at Cindy’s house. The space was really beautifully decorated with everything we needed, including in the kitchen. There was even a basket with “strange towels” that were not white to use for cleaning up spills, etc. The beds were comfortable; we slept soundly every night. The house is just about 5 minutes from downtown Ottawa with restaurants and shopping, about 20 mins from Starved Rock State Park, and an easy walk to a lovely playground with a splash pad. There are a few different outdoor seating options with cushions tucked away in easily accessible storage to keep them dry and clean.

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It was so very very clean, well appointed including an iron and ironing board which wasnt mentioned in the listing. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Plenty of hot water and more than enough bath towels and wash cloths. Shower gels and shampoos provided. Well appointed kitchen and freezer full of ice. The bed was so comfortable I overslept every morning. Super easy check in and out. I’m going to mention again the cleanliness of the place - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 20. I highly recommend this place.

This place was great. There isn’t much around here to do, especially in the winter, but we were looking to mostly disconnect from the outside world for a week and this was great for that. Aside from laundry there is really is everything you need to live here full time including a fully stocked kitchen with various helpful appliances like a crock pot and toaster stashed away but accessible. Perfect for a few days or a full week! It was a little dusty in some spots but otherwise clean and well kept. Had a great time. Hoping to come back when the weather is warmer and take advantage of the lake!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and well cared for, our hosts even sent their cleaner over for a freshen up before we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking meals, including a cookbook we enjoyed. One of the best things about this house is how close it is to Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock and Mathison parks!

The pictures did not do this place justice. It was beyond expectations and such a perfect spot to stay. We only wish we would have had more time to explore around the house and area. Our grandchildren loved their first experience seeing and playing in the snow. The deck was perfect and even provided some me toys for them to play with outside. Our stay at Tony's place was wonderful! We were back in our hometown of Ottawa, all coming from the East Coast for our mother's surprise 80th birthday celebration and staying through the weekend! We loved how easy it was to walk downtown where there were so many new restaurants and shops! I asked Tony from the road if we could check in early and he was super-accommodating of our timeline, that was so appreciated! Other than the outside needing some fresh paint, we loved the place! Lots of character and neat touches, the decor was lovely and a HUGE perk was the comfy sectional! That was a big reason I selected this place and it did not disappoint - very "nap-friendly"! :) Overall, a great place to stay - thanks Tony!

Fantastic, cozy and comfortable. Easy drive to Starved Rock, but also close to great restaurants in downtown Ottawa. Impeccably clean, with a great kitchen. And a large backyard for your kids to blow off steam! Jennifer was easy to work with and responsive. A great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels in each room. The beds were cozy and the heat adjusted quickly. The two highlights were (1) the beautiful deck overlooking the river, where we saw a bald eagle and sandhill cranes migrating and (2) the game room, where we enjoyed family games of pool and poker. The house was 15 minutes from Starved Rock and 2 minutes from a grocery store, so the location was super convenient as well.

What a lovely home! It felt like we were staying in a museum (which I’ve always wanted to do), but without the do not touch signs! The furnishings and design are all perfect for the historic setting and comfortable as well. Bill is amazing at communicating quickly and didn’t seem to mind all the questions I sent him as a first-time user of Airbnb! Entry is on a keypad and the house had all the supplies we needed. I hope very much to stay there again!
