Historic Cider Barn

We had an idyllic two night stay in Somerset with the Cider Barn perfect for us and our Border Terrier. Great walk along the river in the valley bottom. Lovely rural outlook.
A view from the patio door opens to a spacious grassy area bordered by a stone wall. Lush green hills can be seen in the distance under a clear blue sky. A small table is positioned on the decked area, inviting outdoor dining.

Pollywagtails Cottage Rural Escape

We felt so lucky staying in this wonderful little cottage. Elizabeth was lovely and greeted us with a delicious cream tea on arrival which I thought was a really lovely personal touch! The view from the garden is so incredibly beautiful, we spent quite a few hours sitting out there looking at it with a cuppa. The area is so peaceful.

Luxurious studio for two with spectacular views

PhilRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Simply wow, this has to be the best Airbnb around! At the end of a country lane is heaven in Devon. Ruth's place is a large studio, perfect for a couple to escape from the city into the peace of the countryside. It's very well appointed for self catering, either in the kitchen or the barbecue area. Everything has been thought about and taken care of. From welcome touches like the pint of milk in the fridge, through to the custom official Ordnance Survey map shows a level of thought, care and perfection I've never seen before. Staying here felt like staying at your own luxury home where you have everything you need, but without any trace of the feeling of clutter some other places can have when they're full of your host's possessions. The hosts afford you total privacy, there if you need anything or want to chat, but leave your to your stay. We ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden, and had a couple of barbecues down on the patio late into the evening.

The Wheel House, Cosy Rural Getaway

An ideal location for local Christmas family visiting , so we didn’t have need for local pubs/restaurants, however useful info from previous guests was available. It’s a lovely little ‘cottage’ with all you need , loads of hot water , and a nice cool bottle of wine on arrival !

Luxury hot tub, rural views, 1 acre fenced orchard

RobertRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Described perfectly, very clean and tidy, excellent facilities. the welcome pack was much appreciated. The Orchard was very well kept and looked amazing, the Hot Tub was great, easy to use, the Ranch Robes provided were a great help walking back to the Barn from the Hot Tub. Mikes communication was excellent, we were left alone but knew a text or a call to Mike would quickly sort any issues, not that there were any ! Four adults comfortably happy in the Barn. Lots of attention to detail throughout even binoculars and a bird book in the bedroom, very good games selection, kitchen equipment very good, an excellent What to do manual. Very rural as one would expect, the walk to the Pub was just too far for us, we drove to the local York Inn, really nice pub, very good food and service, the local Otter Ale was excellent. I can highly recommend the accommodation and Mike as a host. If you are after tranquillity, nice accommodation a quality hot tub and lovely surroundings…..Go

Carol and Peter were the friendliest and warmest hosts I could imagine. They were so helpful with local recommendations and any request we had. The place is lovely, and we had a great time hanging out in the garden and walking in the local area. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

We had a really lovely stay at The Den cottage. It’s a cosy and private space, with beautiful decor throughout. Everything felt well thought out and the sauna was a real treat! Natasha and James were helpful and accommodating, which made the whole experience very smooth. A great option if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax.
