Cabin vacation rentals in Stamford

This was a weekend getaway for the wife and me,great location fantastic food in the award winning pub and the accommodation was beautiful. Robes and towels supplied for the very private hot tub, essentials in fridge on arrival(coffee/tea milk etc) and the lodge was beautiful( very quiet and peaceful).John was a amazing host and squeezed us into the restaurant when it was fully booked.( You have to try the steak) and the locals are very friendly. 5 star rating all round and we will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Fallow Lodge! Everything was just perfect—from the cozy atmosphere to the peaceful surroundings. The host was incredibly friendly and communication was smooth and easy throughout. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay in the pod. There are some lovely walks in the area and it was very peaceful. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities for cooking and the place was really tidy.

If you are looking for a weekend away with lads it’s perfect place .. Host is very responsive

Great little spot, sad not to be able to swim in the lake but enjoyed the view from the hot tub all the same. The beautiful lodge is 25-35 mins from Stamford where there are lots of lovely restaurants and shops and Rutland Water where we hired bikes for the day and cycled the 17 mile circuit. Stamford also has a Cook, so great and convenient if you are eating in. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity, but some lovely walks around the lake.

Craig was very helpful and welcoming! The lodge was amazing! The hot tub and sauna were a lovely touch! Felt very homely, there were board games available for the family to enjoy, which made our stay that much more fun! Would definitely recommend to all, and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely lodge lots of bee touches. Clean, bigger than we thought, lovely stay. Felt swimming was expensive, if we had gone twice it would have been 74 pounds. Coming from yorkshire felt that was too much. Llovely walk around site. Went to five bells for tea, very good food. Very relaxing.

We had a lovely time, even in winter when the rain was pouring! It's cosy and clean, close to Rutland water if you want to visit. I'm originally from Rutland and we were visiting family, it's a short journey to Oakham, Uppingham, Rutland water, close to amenities. It was great to have the dog with us and our 5-year-old. We will be booking again!

We stayed at Marks Lodge over Xmas and it was everything that was advertised and more it was spotless very comfortable in a lovely spot with some nice walks for the dog.We were surprised to find Sky sports Netflix and Prime also Alexa in fact everything you could think of,prior to our stay Mark answered any questions very quickly and was very proactive with directions and other things..One thing I did not mention was how nicely mark had decorated for xmas. I think Mark is a real super host and we would love to stay again.

Fantastic accommodation, all amenities were provided and were of high quality. The hosts were incredibly useful beforehand to ensure we got into the best accommodation for our needs. The staff on site were extremely helpful and brought additional requests directly to our cabin. The on-site bar and restaurant was very well presented and the food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Lovely cabin stay to visit our friends who live locally. Anna took great care of us and the cabin has everything you need for a short stay. Super friendly hosts, especially loved the finishing touches of juice, milk and hot cross buns for us to enjoy. Clean and tidy, super comfortable bed too! Really couldn't ask for anything more!!!! 10/10, we will be returning!

Great little getaway in a lovely park-like location on a beautiful lake. If you like watersports, this is the place for you! (We were in the area to visit family, so we didn’t partake in any water sports). Very well appointed lodge with everything you need. A couple minor issues (eg. couldn’t find a remote) were dealt with quickly. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway or family vacation.

We loved our stay in the Barnowl lodge. Short walk from the car park, and very cosy. Good on-site facilities, although a slight walk from the pods (but only 2 mins, no different to being on a campsite) Excellent place to unwind for a weekend, and great fishing too! Make sure you bring some pound coins for the showers though!

Amazing accommodation- really well maintained and spacious. Also very secure- just what we wanted and needed for our time down in the area. Donna was there to greet us and had milk/water in the fridge and hamper of tea/coffee/biscuits and cereals available. We are already booked for our next trip. Would highly recommend this host/accommodation.

Easy communication and check in Cabin was perfect for what I needed as I was working locally and needed some place to stay Shower was hot and clean, bar was very well priced and friendly

We had a great stay at Zoe’s hut. It was very peaceful. We had everything we needed. Great location if you are at Grafham for sailing/surfing.

We spent Easter weekend at Lodge Phoenix. The experience was unreal, the beauty unmatched. The place was tastefully decorated. Maria was very responsive and helped us out promptly. Highly highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

What a lovely log cabin, and what a wonderful host! Neal gave clear instructions for arrival, great communication, then came and showed us the thermostat and other amenities like the rear deck and which way to watch the sun rise. A bottle of wine and nice biscuits were an extra lovely touch. Thank you so much.
