Louise's room was clean and quiet. Note that you might get the room not in the picture - ie without a desk. Great price and near furness abbey for evening walk.
A serene view of an expansive green field is displayed, bordered by a wooden fence. A blooming tree stands to the right, with a distant hillside visible under a clear blue sky. The landscape conveys a sense of openness and tranquility.

The Annex, Ulverstons little gem

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a lovely property, clean, bright and modern as well as an amazing location, surrounded by open fields and the beach 15 minutes walk down the lane. Being detached with a lovely garden backing on to fields it felt very quiet. Derek and Sue are lovely hosts, very welcoming and friendly. We would fully recommend staying there and hope to stay again before too long.

Lovely Lake District rural retreat

ElyseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a memorable stay in the Lake District, in an absolute beautiful and remote place that has so much history! Kate was a fantastic host, we loved our conversations together and hanging out by the fire in the evening. The cats and the hens brought us so much joy! Kate went above and beyond to set up breakfast with many choices - even accommodating for gluten and dairy free. The road to get there is an adventure in itself, luckily there's not much traffic and it went really well for us. We would highly recommend staying there! Note that the ground in front of the house is uneven and there are a few steps to get into the house, which can be challenging for people who have difficulties going up stairs. You might be as lucky as us and have a cat waiting for you at the top though!
A vase with a geometric blue pattern holds a bouquet of yellow tulips. The flowers are arranged with their green leaves prominently featured. Natural light filters through partially closed blinds, illuminating the wooden surface beneath the vase.
