It is a cosy, modern 3 bedroom chalet with a log burner. Situated close to the market town of Penrith and Lake Ullswater it is in a perfect location for exploring the Lake District and the Eden Valley. Away from the tourist crowds but also within easy access to hotspots and amenities. There are attractions in the local area for all ages and interests.

Lakeway is a beautiful, cottage on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. It is situated 2.5 miles from Pooley bridge and is a 5 minute walk from the quaint village of Tirril, which has its own Country Pub. You can walk the Eamont Way to Pooley Bridge or hop on the bus from Tirril. Lakeway has 4 double bedrooms, the master bedroom is ensuite and there is a large living / dining area which has plenty of room to relax with friends or family. The enclosed gardens provide plenty of space

At just three minutes walk from the train station it's directly accessible by public transport from London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Our cosy, peaceful home-away-from-home, with a private south-facing garden, is a relaxing base for exploring the Lake District. The quiet village of Stainton is ideally located for the Ullswater Valley, being just a 10-minute drive, or a scenic 3-mile walk across fields, to Ullswater and Pooley Bridge. Eat out at the village pub, or the hotel bar and restaurant. Hop on a bus to nearby Penrith, or a little further afield to Keswick. This is our home, available to rent just a few weeks a year.

The Bothy is a small snug barn conversion adjoining our home close to Ullswater The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has green electric heating and a wood burning stove in a sandstone inglenook, a wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with ensuite facilities. Rural 3-bedroom cottage in quiet village

Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!

The Cottage is set off the beaten track where you will have the chance to enjoy some peace and quiet and relax!

The Barn can be booked along with The Byre next door for pairs of couples.

First floor barn conversion located in the peaceful village of Newton Reigny, a 9 minute drive from the Lake District National Park border (lake Ullswater just 15 minutes away). The village has a pub & a small shop. A 5 minute drive from the historic market town of Penrith which has a selection of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants & amenities. Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).
