Idyllic retreat just metres from Porthilly beach

CamillaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

The Anchorage, Portmellon, Mevagissey

LizzieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

Luxury house with garden for 4-8 in Cornwall

AnikaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Faye’s and Mike’s house is a wonderful place to stay and spent some relaxing holidays. The house is well equipped and the garden lovely for the kids to play. You can also reach all places in Cornwall easily. Faye and Mike give several recommendations and especially the “Hidden Hut” was a gorgeous place. We can highly recommend the house and would love to come back.

What an amazing home, amazing location, superb host- really quick to respond to my queries. Loved playing old LPs. Was a little nervous about sleeping in a day bed but was roomy and slept like a log. Bedding and pillows were fab, so comfy. I’m already looking at a booking this summer. Don’t waste time thinking about booking. Do it or it will be gone! Thanks Babs Neat & Andy Greaves

Luxury Holiday Home with Hot Tub & Sea views

GeorginaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What a wonderful find. We met at Tygwella for a family holiday, some of us coming from Australia and some from Manchester. The house was ideal. It was spacious so we could occupy different “wings” with our own bathrooms and come together for meals, chat and play. The house was very generously supplied with basic provisions, kitchen and laundry equipment. We wanted for nothing. Having two ovens was great for cooking adult and children’s meals. The location was so peaceful with great views and easy access to the coast path and beach.

Cornish hideaway with amazing view private hot tub

JulianRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

Stunning Scandinavian Lodge with pool and hot tub.

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

Butterfly Rest, Lelant- St Ives

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Oh Wow! Adorable! Such a peaceful, tastefully decorated, cosy and well equipped haven in the woodlands. Literally so easy to get to and fabulously placed for St Ives, Mousehole, The Minack Theatre, Lands End, St Michael’s Mount…. The list is endless. Tina is such a warm and responsive host too. Not only was Butterfly Rest itself beautifully inviting but Tina also, made us feel so welcome through her communications with us. We actually didn’t even eat out…. It was just so nice after our busy days, to come home and prepare food to enjoy at leisure, especially with the view of the squirrels visiting to see if we had popped any nuts or sunflower seeds out for them (seeds provided by Tina)… so cute ❤️ Thank You Tina, your thoughtful decoration and equipping of Butterfly Rest made it a fabulous stay for us! ❤️

This is an amazing air bnb! We had a wonderful stay at Claire’s place. The place was exactly as described and the small touches like cold Prosecco in the fridge, hot water bottles and dressing gowns made it feel extra welcoming. The location is great, just a small walk to the beach and restaurants / pubs. Claire was extremely responsive host and we would defined stay here again if we came back to Perrenporth!

TimRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This is a fantastic place to stay. So close to the beaches and right in the heart of Portscatho which has everything you need for your holiday (great food, an ice cream parlour, good shop, nice pubs). It is a brilliant place to stay for an active holiday - great walking/running, sea swimming/paddling etc. It is a fantastic house - bigger than it looks in the pictures and really comfortable.

We had a delightful stay at Cuckoos Nest . This is a beautiful cottage that mixes both period and modern architecture well. It’s is spacious with excellent off road parking, and a lovely garden to relax in. It had the wow factor as soon as you walked in, making you feel at home. There was a little hamper that made you feel welcome, Thankyou for that 😀. Every Airbnb I have stayed at usually reflects in some way the surroundings or local area, and this one had cosy chilled out Cornwall oozing out of every space.

Martin's place was perfect, it is a lovely spacious home and is like home from home. Martin ensures you have all you need for comfort, good/clear instructions and is very responsive if there is anything you need. The house is beautifully fitted out and is in a perfect location. It could not be closer to all the amenities in the village and you have stunning views from the bedroom window. The decking area is perfect for sitting out for breakfast, lunch and tea or anytime as it gets the sun! We would definitely go back & highly recommend.

I write on a personal note as well (to show how amazing the hosts were). The night after we arrived my parents’ dog, Mollie went missing. Kaye and Lindsey pulled out all the stops to help search for her. Sadly the day before we left, the dog was found but it wasn’t a good outcome. But they’d joined in the search intensely all week, organising local people to come help, a farmer to help with cutting back vegetation, searching at various hours of the day in an effort to find Mollie. They really were brilliant.

Den’s Den is in a great location less than a minute from the beautiful seafront. The accommodation was perfect for us: very comfortable, quiet, all the facilities we needed, a sea view, plus a rooftop terrace. Simon was a very responsive host and made sure we had found it okay. There was so much to do in the area; we enjoyed the coast path and amazing beaches, swimming and kayaking. We love the Roseland and this was the best place we have stayed in St Mawes.

We loved staying at Jay’s place. It was just as described, truly special. For us the setting was perfect. A short walk to a beautiful beach, Portscatho walking distance but far enough away to feel you are in another world. The Studio is very comfortable but with its own arty charm. The smell of honeysuckle from the flowers greeted us as well as thoughtful cakes and basic provisions. Very highly recommended for those looking for seclusion and peace but with Portscatho only a half hours cliff or quiet lanes stroll away.
