Vacation rentals with a patio in St. Mary's County

We came in very late our 3 hour drive turned into 4 1/2 due to severe thunderstorms and heavy rain. It’s was our safe harbor. Solomans island is very beautiful. Unfortunately we misunderstood the check out time on top of we were waiting on a boat surveyor. The place was clean and close to many attractions and shops.

We had a great stay in Maryland, made all the better by Kurt and Marilyn's great hosting. Their basement apartment has everything you'd need for a beautiful and relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen felt new and well thought out and overall the appartment was spacious yet homely. From the moment you get out of the car you know that they've put a lot of thought into this airbnb and worked to make it feel like a home. One of our favourite bits was the daffodil lined path, past the trees to the door. Every time we went in and out, seeing rabbits and squirrels on our way past and hearing the birds up above was so relaxing. Finally we would add that having hosts on-site means was an added bonus as any issues are quickly responded to and well managed. Plus they had great recommendations for where to go and what to see, was lovely to meet them. Would definitely stay there again if we're back in the area.

Location, both the island and apartment, is wonderful. View of the water. Close to restaurants. Our stay this May was peaceful. Host treated my spouse and I kindly. Super clean apartment. Advice: do the easy hike to Calvert Cliffs for fossils on beach. Visit the Annmarie sculpture garden and art center. It's a true gem.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view, very peaceful. Sitting on the dock and watching the sunset became a favorite past time. Mary was so kind to allow us to use her patio to have my son over for food and games. It was a truly lovely stay. More amenities than any place I'd been to before. My only note was that the curtains in the primary bedroom are just sheer cloth, so the sun comes in at 5 am to wake you up, but that can be remedied with a mask, and changing in the bathroom was fine for me. The view is mostly wooded, so I wasn't concerned much about people seeing in, but I wasn't comfortable changing at night with the light on. The other thing to note is that the bedroom door does not lock from the outside, and there is access to the downstairs apartment from the house upstairs. It did not bother me, I took my purse when I left and didn't have anything to lock up anyway. Honestly this is a 5 star place to stay, and the little things are just that.

Jessica's basement apartment was very nice and had above and beyond amenities for the price. She was responsive and friendly. I'm happy with the unit however the thermostat is located in the host's living area so you will have to coordinate a temperature with her but she was always friendly and accommodating. I would happily book with her at this location again.

Comfy place to stay the night. Great large space with updated large shower. Access to common areas which we didn’t need as only there for the night. We would just have liked a secure door into the room. Didn’t seem like anyone else was staying at the time.

This is our 2nd time being here and we were not disappointed! This house has a beautiful view. Pooja is a wonderful host. We were welcome with a basket of snacks. Kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked. Pooja provided more than enough for our stay and we had everything we need. House is clean and beds are comfortable. My family had a great time fishing and kayaking. Thanks Pooja for your hospitality!

Teresa’s A-frame was incredible! With the screen doors in place, we got a really nice breeze with the sounds of the ocean and birds. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was clean. The beach is was a short walk away with wildlife and beautiful views. We would love to return our next time we’re in Maryland!

Great for a group/family weekend getaway. Erin and Aryn are very hospitable hosts and provided all the essentials. Everything in the kitchen and all the light switches are clearly labeled, making it easy to navigate.

Patrick and Celine's home was everything they said: Beautiful views! Very clean and comfortable and cozy inviting and even had a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room. Had everything you could need in kitchen and bathrooms very clean comfortable home. The grand-kids both stayed in the room with the bunk-beds. They enjoyed the space and comfort of the beds. All the rooms and beds were comfortable. The house was so cute, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the outside amenities, being that it is December. Everything is just as pictured on-line maybe even better in person. The hosts were very communicative, we never had any issues. We had a great holiday time and would love to be able to return sometime. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay here. Beautiful views of the water. Hosts were quick to respond. Good WiFi. Large deck with teak table and weber grill. Easy walk to water access. The waterfront is the best I’ve seen on the Bay. Sandy with shady and sunny spots against the cliffs. From the water access, you can walk in one direction to the limestone cliffs for shark tooth hunting. The other direction goes all the way to the marina. We hope to stay here again.

The house was amazing and beyond our expectations! It was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, lots of great seating and every amenity you could ever need! Loved the screened porch, firepit and seating area overlooking the creek. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Loved this lovely property and being close to nature. Enjoyed a peaceful and restful week. Thank you!

We stayed at Sandy's peaceful riverside home while attending an event in the area. I wish we were able to stay for more than one night! The property is quiet, calm, and beautiful. Sandy and Rob were incredibly accommodating, letting us drop our luggage off at the house before checking in. When we checked in, Sandy left us some delicious donuts that we enjoyed in the morning with coffee. What a nice surprise! The home was spotless and well-appointed if we decided to cook a meal there. We look forward to coming back to relax with our family. This is truly a wonderful stay, not just because of the home, but also the hospitality that our hosts gave. Thank you, Sandy and Rob!
