Cosy Coastal Cottage This cosy cottage is part of Blue Moon Cottages, three beautifully decorated cottages just 250 metres from the bayside beach at Rye on the Southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula. This character filled cottage is decorated with a subtle classic neutral theme. It is large enough to accommodate a couple or a family with an infant.The cottage is also pet friendly with an outdoor courtyard which is fully fenced and pets are welcome inside. Living: Walking into the cottage the wooden clad interior has a cosy lounge with log fire for winter stays and French doors to open up to the courtyard in summer. A leather chair and comfy sofa give the feeling of a log cabin hideaway to the room.The lounge opens further to a dining area with four chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. Sleeping: There is a large carpeted bedroom at the gable end of the cottage, beautifully decorated with hanging bedside lamps, a wrought iron Qeen bed and wall mounted TV. Bathrooms: Modern recently renovated bathroom with shower. There is a shared laundry on the Blue Moon Cottages site with washer and dryer. Heating and Cooling: Reverse Cycle Heater and Air Conditioner and additional wall heaters are in the dining and bedroom Parking: There is off street parking for one car Pet Friendly: Pets are welcome inside however as the cottage and courtyard is small we would recommend small dogs only. The fully enclosed courtyard garden has an outdoor entertaining area with a BBQ. The Sandpiper is a perfect beach retreat in both summer and winter. Your home away from home has everything you need for a relaxing holiday: Air conditioning, Flat screen TV, DVD, Wifi, Log fire, BBQ, Private courtyard garden,outdoor dining area andc car parking This is self catering accommodation and the room is not serviced on a daily basis. However, all linen, towels, basic kitchen provisions and toiletries are supplied for your arrival. Photography - photography is continually kept up to date when major changes to properties are made, however, minor changes in furniture or bedding may vary from the current photography. Such a beautiful place to stay, the perfect location with a perfect balance between secluded, serene nature and being walkable to amazing shops and cafes. Very close to the most beautiful beach. All possible amenities were available with so many personable touches around the house to welcome. The hosts were super attentive with every detail of the stay mapped out and explained, as well as being so warm and welcoming to make you feel so at home!

Julie is very easy to communicate with and the property is fabulous, inside and out!! Even with other guests on the homestead grounds, it is peaceful and quiet. Dad and I look forward to many future stays in the Hidden Cottage!!

Silver leaf cottage is nestled in beautiful gardens . Bernadette is very conscious of allowing her guests privacy . We only met her as she was watering the garden early one evening when we returned from a day out . She was friendly but not inquisitive. The setting is very peaceful . The only sounds you will hear are birdsong and chirping crickets . The French inspired decor is very easy on the eye and the towels and bedding are luxurious. The Queen sized bed is extremely comfortable and the shower of the very effective rain shower type . The location meant we could easily travel to see friends in Portsea and go to the beach in Sorrento and McCrae . We dined at Paul Louey’s Chinese restaurant in Rye where the food was delicious and very reasonably priced .

We stayed a couple of nights in Debs gorgeous little cottage, our plan was to do very little and simply relax. We had everything we needed there, the kids loved playing in the front and back yards, and whenever I could get them inside, they enjoyed playing the board games and reading in the book nook. We loved that everything was just a five minute drive away…the pier, restaurants, the supermarket and cafes, Beach 16. Deb was one of the best hosts we’ve dealt with, very responsive to messages and super helpful. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay for such a short time. For a family friendly home I would 100% recommend Debs cosy cottage.

Her house was excellent - super well equipped kitchen, and lots of books and games to keep the kids entertained. Location was also great, short walk to Rye back beach, and very peaceful. Would definitely return
