Vacation rentals with lake access in St. Joseph

We had a “girls weekend” which started with a massive thunderstorm and electric outage. Not to fear….the whole house generator took over for the two nights! Just minor inconveniences including downstairs bedroom and stove out, but water, refrigerator, microwave and lights all good. Great location for day trips to Saugatuck, St. Joseph, South Haven. Jacson was very communicative throughout the weekend. Great hot tub!

We recently spent a lovely weekend at Lake Solis. The house could not be more well stocked, cleaner or any more cozy and well designed. Every last detail is thoughfully designed to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Out of all the houses in the development, this house has the best location, with a private beachfront and unobstructed views of the peaceful little lake. The host has been super friendly and accomodating. She requires no special rules upon checkout, instead wanting to make sure her guests simply enjoy their stay without having to worry about chores. And the best part - pets are welcome! Our yellow lab Bruno had an absolute blast, spending time in nature with all of us! Thank you!!!

Beautiful views right on the coast of Lake Michigan. The place feels very cared for and has lots of great nooks to retreat to and just relax. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Fair warning there are a lot of steps (my kids counted 169 to be exact) to get down to the beach but that didn’t deter us from going and the beach felt very private - we were literally the only ones there. It did limit our ability to send the kids without us for the younger ones which was fine but something to note if you were hoping to just watch them from the porch. We ate out pretty much the whole trip - highly recommend the Copper Pot and the cute market next door to it (pick out a charcuterie board from the cheese lady!). Overall a lovely trip! Thanks for having us!

Peaceful clean home with beautiful windows showcasing the surrounding trees and natural light. This was the perfect place to host our group.

Great private space on a quiet street. Lots of breweries and restaurants a quick drive away. Amenities were just as described and the space is in great condition.

This place is small yet quaint! Looks like new construction, very updated, and comfy. Even a cute private patio just for us! The bathroom was large, expensive appliances in kitchen, and comfortable king size bed. It was perfect for the two of us!

We had a great time at this Airbnb! It was clean and spacious (especially for two people, but would be perfect for a small family) and was a quick-ish drive to everything we wanted to do. It was easy to find and felt safe, with everything we needed. There was an issue with the internet, but the owner resolved it immediately (VERY responsive and so nice!), and she even gave us lots of recommendations for fun things to do in the area. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Perfect for crashing after a long day at the beach. We hope to come back soon!

We wanted a relaxing weekend away with our dog and this was the perfect place! Such a cozy stay with beautiful surroundings! Loved all the windows and natural light and the fireplace and fire pit were a great bonus! It was so nice to be able to walk out of the house and just pick a trail to walk down. Would definitely stay here again!

Carlos place was everything we expected and more. We loved that it had a hot tub. It was very clean. The loft was so clean and so beautiful. Perfect for our one night stay!

Excellent location. Unit is small and bathroom/toilet is a tight fit. Very clean on arrival and furnishings are nice.

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

Loved the uniqueness of this property, which was both charming and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great location that was walkable to shops, beach, lighthouse, eateries, etc. Would gladly stay again!

The location is excellent! Very walkable to town and Lake Michigan. The bed is on the firm side if you like that and bedroom is small. Netflix available was a plus.

The Neighborhood Hotel is located in a fantastic spot in New Buffalo, making it super easy to park in your assigned parking spot and walk everywhere downtown. The property is beautifully finished inside and out, and the A/C works great. There are lots of community outdoor space with different seating moments to accomidate your needs. The only issue we had was that the wifi was very spotty/did not work on the first day of our stay throughout the property, but it worked great on the second day. Overall I would recommend this property as a great hybrid hotel/AirBnB rental for anyone looking to explore New Buffalo!

Great place to stay for my family of 3! Very cute, spacious, clean, welcoming and so close to downtown and everything you need! Claire was very responsive and easy to talk to/ask questions. Highly recommend :)

We had a great stay here! Beautiful view of the lake and overlooked the pool. Short walk to a very private feeling beach with gorgeous sunsets. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Extra little amenities added a nice touch. Super comfy king bed. Quiet and peaceful area. Excellent communication and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

We LOVED this place! Quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood which made it wonderful to relax and take several walks. Even a Nice short leisurely walk to the beach. We used the campfire pit a lot, since it was a cooler weekend than normal. The place was super clean, cute, cozy and comfy! Close to everything we wanted to do restaurants, ice cream, bike rides, etc. Peter was a wonderful host and even had a bottle of wine for us in the refrigerator to help celebrate our anniversary! We will be back!!

The cottage was beautiful and exactly what we were wanting for our honeymoon spot! It was so clean and well stocked for staying there. The beach and trails nearby were nice to walk and we were pleased with how much was available to go out and do within a short drive. The host was incredibly helpful with instructions and recommendations for where to go in the area. It was a wonderful experience!

Easy check-in and felt right at home. Jennifer was always responsive to messages. She also gave great suggestions for food etc. The house is located perfectly for walking to the beach, market, restaurants, coffee. It is also a great location for quick travels to New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Michigan City and more. We will visit again for sure!

This is a great place, exactly as advertised. We loved the hot tub and all the fun stuff to do nearby.

Amanda had great response time on communication I was very impressed at how fast she would respond to any question or comment I had about the place. This place fit all our needs for the week so that was good! Clean and pleasant place to stay.

Where to begin - this place was a gem!! I spent my 30th birthday with friends at Kim's place and it was nothing short of amazing. The neighborhood and lake are serene and peaceful and Kim's unobstructed view is incredible. The sunroom is charming, bright and so cute; I could've spent my entire trip in that room looking out the lake, lol. The hot tub and pontoon were the cherries on top and I cannot wait to visit again. All my guests were buzzing about the house and how they want to book here for their own future trips. Thank you so much for everything, Kim!! Your house made my 30th so memorable & I will absolutely be back :) :)

Great place to stay. Christine is a really good host. The house was clean, and the back yard is great. The only thing is that the access to the beach is a bit challenging than described. But, overall, we had a great expereince at Christine's place.

We really loved our stay in Coloma! There was plenty to do around town and the surrounding towns. We enjoyed wineries, sitting down by Little Paw Paw Lake, some great meals and a stunning sunset over Lake Michigan. Liz was so helpful and responsive. We definitely hope to return!
