Beachfront vacation rentals in St. Joseph County

The cottage was beautiful, and though there was a little bit of miscommunication, Tim and Kate went above and beyond to come up with a solution for us! We would definitely consider staying again when it's warmer out!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful, very clean, spacious and had all the amenities needed for our family trip. A brand-new renovated bathroom and large living room overlooking the lake were the highlights for us! The host was very responsive and flexible. We definitely recommend this rental and will be back for future trips!

Nice and cozy. Right on the river. We did not use the kayaks since the river was up bit from the rain. Very short drive to Shipshewana area. Was very quiet in the evening. Enjoyed staying there

Alicia’s place is truly located on a hilltop! Beautiful view of the lake but not as close as it appeared in the pictures. Alicia did us a huge favor in hosting us at the last minute when another Airbnb host had to unexpectedly cancel due to septic issues. We were glad to find a place on Jimmerson Lake and celebrate our daughter’s wedding! Alicia was quick to respond to any questions and was a great host. Thanks, Alicia!

Wow, what an incredible place to stay! As soon as you walk in the door you feel the calm. From a nice big walk in shower to the screened in back porch; the little dock at the water and beautifully simple decor - absolutely beautiful. The owner(s) were also incredibly helpful and gracious. I would recommend this "get-away" to anyone!

Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and being able to use the everything outside as needed. The pontoon was a bonus and made for fun fishing excursions. Having almost enough beds for our large family was a big plus! The house was clean, the yard was sufficient and the beach a very short walk (or run if you were under the age of 12). We also enjoyed meeting Jake and hope we can see him again next year!

It was another magical stay at the Point. Beautiful, private, serene setting, even during a busy time on the lake. The house was as immaculately clean and comfortable as it has been on our previous visits. We're tall -- both six feet -- and the slanted ceiling in the kitchen/bathroom (mentioned in another review) has never been a concern. Loren is the best host I've worked with on Airbnb, offering clear instructions and quick communication.

Scott and Rebecca were the perfect hosts. They very welcoming and attentive. They would ck in with us occasionally to see if we were comfortable and needed anything. The description of the airbnb was perfect, this was exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend this property. Yes, this was " lake life" at its best. We intend on comming back. We loved our stay! This was the perfect place to have a family gathering over the holidays for those traveling from out of town.

She was a great person. Her and a gentleman made sure we could get out easily because it snowed a lot. The lake behind the cabin and land was beautiful. They made sure we had everything we needed. I'll definitely be back.

Great location and home. We enjoyed the direct access to water, the fire pit, and walkable to a nearby state park for a scenic nature walk. Home had a great number of rooms, beds and bathrooms. There was a large dining table for 8 people with large bay window looking out on the water.

Fabulous destination for families with young children -- from indoor toys and games, to an outdoor play structure and beach toys. The shallow beach was perfect for the four children under nine who were in our group. The kayaks and SUPs were great fun for the adults. The hosts were very responsive and communicative, offering us further amenities even after we checked in. Can highly recommend this spot for families with children of any age.

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

Wow…this house is beautiful and the lake view was incredible, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We were able to host family and friends also staying near by for the same wedding and everyone was comfortable and so impressed. Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend get away! The house is even more gorgeous in person and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Taking in the view of the lake from the porch with a cup of coffee is a beautiful way to start the day and sitting around the fire pit on the beach is a great way to end the night! The location is a short drive to several restaurants and wineries and is especially pretty this time of year with the leaves changing. Aurelio was a great host, the house and amenities were fabulous and everyone had an amazing time—we will definitely be back!

What a beautiful place for our families extended weekend get away. There was plenty of board and card games. We really enjoyed the large connect four game and pool table. The property and surrounding wildlife was absolutely beautiful. There was a slight delay in communication regarding the hot tub, that being said we we're there Easter weekend so I felt the delay was understandable, the issue was acknowledged and taken care of quickly and our family enjoyed relaxing time in the hot tub before we checked out. Highly recommend booking!
