Vacation rentals with a fire pit in St. Ignace

House was as described and the host put lots of thought into the little things. Very well stocked and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Centrally located for day trips. Sandy beach very close. Had a great time and would stay here again.

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

The bonfire at this house is truly amazing! In the early morning, you'll be gently awakened by the pleasant sound of wind chimes. The room's décor has a cozy cabin feel to it. It’s definitely spacious enough for five people, and we stayed here very comfortably.

This house was perfect for my family. The location was close to restaurants and the ferry to Mackinac island. Great communication and would rent the home again

Staying here was truly relaxing. We felt like we were actually able to unplug and get away. The property is absolutely beautiful and so fun to explore. This place made our trip to the U.P. extra special. We would happily visit again.

The cabin was super clean, and you can tell every detail was thoughtfully planned out. We enjoyed using the backyard for a bonfire and the fully equipped kitchen to make dinners. There is a small golf course about 15 minutes from the house, which we also enjoyed. While this cabin is on the smaller side, the inside feels spacious, and the outdoors definitely makes up for it!

Very Nice Place!! great location!! very quiet and calm. The home had everything we needed and it was comfortable and cozy.

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

John and his wife were both extremely nice and welcoming! My friend and I didn’t realize how bad the mosquitos are there this time of year so John gave us bug spray to use after he turned on the fire pit for us to enjoy. Beautiful lot as well, highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Angela’s property. So many beautiful plants and everything was so clean and well maintained outside. A real oasis. The room was very clean and the linens smelled so good. I am a germaphobe and I never felt uncomfortable staying there. It was near so many attractions while also being very private and peaceful —we spent every evening sitting on the beach just taking it all in. Can’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful weekend here. It was very close to the lake and we could walk right down to it. Very clean and cozy.

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

Our stay was comfortable. During the night, there was an unexpected accident—my child had a nosebleed (a first for us) on the bed. I reached out to Ryan, and he responded with such kindness and understanding. He assured us not to worry and mentioned that he already planned to replace the queen bedding, which we had found to be very clean and new. We really appreciated his thoughtful and supportive response—it made a stressful moment much easier to handle. Thank you, Ryan, for being such a considerate host!

5 star out of 5 is not even close!!!! 10 out of 5 would be more accurate. You will not find a cleaner, more well- planned/ use of space, and friendlier hosts. Joanne and Tim went so far above and beyond with so many thoughtful, personal touches. From the fresh baked bread, custom selected wine, painted rock, and hand written thank you card, and it does not stop there. Plain and simple, if you are reading this review, book it now before it's too late, because I will never stay anywhere else if I am in the area. To all other airbnb hosts, these two have set the bar. Good luck even coming close.

Quiet, secluded, comfortable, beautifully remodeled. We were wanting a quiet getaway, and this cabin did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. 10 out of 10 highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

We had such a wonderful time at Big Cedar ! The only thing i forgot to pack was stuff for my husband’s coffee and was so pleasantly surprised to have a Keurig & the means for coffee! Definitely bring 40% deer mosquito spray ! Can’t wait to come back ☺️

Wow — this was maybe the best AirBnB experience that I’ve had. Monica has done such a wonderful job with this cabin. It was pristine, peaceful, and in the most beautiful location. The cabin itself was exceptionally comfortable with everything we needed for comfort. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and cooking utensils, with a great grill outside — we used it for most meals! The porch was almost with the entire value of the place itself, a perfect spot to sit and relax and enjoy the day. My dog was in LOVE with her surroundings, and we enjoyed many a walk down the long grassy lawn to the water where she swam and laid out in the sun on the dock (plus was put into a kayak successfully for the first time with moderate success!). Monica was an incredible host who has quite literally thought of everything to make the stay perfect. We hope to stay again in the future!

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

The cabin is just beautiful. It is perfectly maintained inside and out. The furnishings are wonderful and the host has included all the amenities you could ask for. The view of Lake Superior is spectacular and the location is private.

Fantastic cabin... Super clean, and had all the essentials. Location is really nice Atlanta (10 mins), Gaylord (15 mins), Alpena (1hr), we drove up to Mackinaw city 1 hr 15mins. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a cabin in the woods.

Cute space, much larger inside than the exterior would have indicated. Appreciated that they gave directions with photos since our Google Maps sent us would have sent us the wrong way.
