Family-friendly vacation rentals in St. Ignace

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It's even better in person than the photos - and the photos are pretty great! Perfect location - peaceful and secluded but not far from anything. Melissa was amazing and communicated quickly when any question arose - we were able to check in early and check out late which was an awesome benefit with wine in the car! The amenities are perfection: such a well-stocked kitchen and a pristinely clean bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the character throughout this lovely old granary really made it a stand out. The location is central to many wineries, breweries and great restaurants - we never felt far from anything but it was so quiet and peaceful to be surrounded by fields and so much green! The hot tub was an amazing bonus and we used it on an unexpectedly cold May night. Suffice to say, we will, without a doubt, be making a return visit to this wonderful place. - Lisa & Dave, Sawyer, MI

Over the top amazing place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable and adorable! Seth and Kelsey were outstanding hosts and my husband and I were so impressed, these two should give lessons on how to be the perfect hosts!!! The food was amazing and they also slipped in a little birthday surprise for me. The property was so well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were a welcome surprise and we enjoyed meeting other guests fixing s’mores!! I forgot to sign the guest book so will be back soon!!

This place was so nice and relaxing! One thing that we were happy about is that they welcomed dogs! We have 2, 9 month old mini poodles and this was their first adventure so having a host that accepts pets was #1 on our list. This place is way better than the pictures! We felt right at home and we loved watching the boats go by on the river! The beds were so comfy and made for an even better relaxing time. I highly recommend this place. It is very private and quiet! We saw lots of different types of birds, including a couple eagles. We knew a beaver was close by but never got to see him, only his handy work. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back in the future! Thank you Donald, we soooo enjoyed your place!

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We stayed at Cathy's place while having plans at Nub's Nob. The location was absolutely perfect. Cathy was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful and comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. We would, without a doubt, stay here again when in the area.

Wonderful host and fantastic condo. Comfortable, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Very nice linens and towels. Location was perfect for us to access Nubs Nob and restaurants in Harbor Springs. Janine was exceptionally welcoming and responsive.

We loved our stay! The listing was exceptionally clean and amenities were as described. We enjoyed the location and having a coffee shop and (delicious) burger joint in walkable distance was a great bonus! The view of the beach and water right off the private balcony was wonderful and having a heated pool/hot tub combo right on property made this an ideal booking for our family. We’d come back and would recommend to others!

Another great stay at Bobs place! We were there three years ago celebrating my grandpas 80th birthday. So glad we were able to have another family vacation in the same spot three years later with all the same people. The house is beautiful, plenty of room for many families at once (we ranged in age from 1 to 83, the lake is peaceful, easy drives to superior, Oswald’s, the falls, Grand Marias, the Two Hearted.. the list goes on! Bob is very responsive and even called to check in during our stay - giving us tips on what to try for fishing off the dock and boat. We cannot say enough good things!! This will be our go to place if we all decide to do another trip!

The house is exactly as described and very clean. The kitchen had everything we wanted for cooking. It’s a great spot if you’re skiing at boyne highlands or nubs nob. Check in and check out instructions were very clear. The check in time is 7pm which is a little late I think but Larry allowed us to check in a bit early which was great.

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

I honestly believe this is just about the nicest Airbnb that I have stayed in over the last 10 years. The home has a wonderful layout and the backyard with the treehouse, deck and fire pit is makes for such a relaxing experience. The kitchen has absolutely everything you will need. The beds are super comfy. Lauren was quick to respond and very helpful. We will be back!

We've stayed at Luette's place for 3+ times and it's been exceptional every time. We will continue to stay every year as long as pricing remains consistent. It's our perfect TC spot.

This place is beautiful,we had a great time place was very peaceful!!! I highly recommend the pontoon rental, great fishing info on the lake, great variety of fish from the dock!!

Zareena’s Airbnb was like home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy. Zareena is a very thoughtful host and was very responsive. Everything was walkable from her home to downtown Boyne.

Beautiful home and location — Elk Rapids is a gem, and we are already planning our return visit. I'd definitely recommend Chelsea's place.

This cottage was so adorable! Check in was so smooth, and all the amenities were very helpful during the stay. We had such a great time and the bonfire was perfect for s’mores. Overall an amazing stay!

Mary was very responsive - had a little trouble with internet when we arrived and Mary was right on it and corrected my mistake. The surroundings were beautiful with the fall colors and the setting was so serene and peaceful. It was exactly what we wanted being close enough to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore to enjoy it but far enough away not to be caught in the tourism. Mary was able to give us restaurant suggestions and be super responsive without being overbearing. Overall a truly wonderful stay!!

The Memory Maker was all that we hoped for and so much more. We had initially intended to find an Airbnb on Torch Lake but once we saw this place we booked it right away and it was the perfect choice. We still trailered the boat a quick ride to Torch for an adventure but spent the majority of our trick on Elk Lake and loved it. This Airbnb thought of everything and we wanted for nothing! We took our four adult children and their significants and our grandbaby and we all had plenty of room to enjoy our stay! Hank and Alaina

We enjoyed a two-night girls getaway at Kimberly Sue’s quaint apartment. The location was excellent, we walked to downtown Suttons Bay multiple times and it’s a quick 15 minutes to nearby Leland. We sincerely appreciated the welcome basket of local goodies, that was such a treat! If you are sensitive to road noise, this may not be the best option for you as the apartment is located right on busy M-22, but it would not deter us from returning in the future. Thanks for a wonderful weekend “up north”!
