Vacation rentals in St. Ignace

Very unique spot - fun to walk around the property! The area was hilly and beautiful! The house was cozy and fit our needs.

The location was very remote but only 20 minutes from civilization. Places to eat and get gas were closer. Hosts were very friendly and helpful making great recommendations. Accommodations were spacious and private. Nice to have a full kitchen. Highly recommend staying with Lynn and Sam. We had a great time and wish it would have been longer.

Great place to stay for those who want to enjoy the nature of the Upper Peninsula! Ten minute drive to Whitefish Point, twenty minutes to the Tahquamenon Falls, and two hours to pictured rocks. The jacuzzi tub was a great extra after walking miles of trails and the bed was really comfortable. Kitchen is super well equipped. Unscreened windows off living area were nice for watching the birds. For those with young kids, there is a wonderful assortment of child-friendly games, tableware, etc. It is also accommodating for a dog.

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

Wow — this was maybe the best AirBnB experience that I’ve had. Monica has done such a wonderful job with this cabin. It was pristine, peaceful, and in the most beautiful location. The cabin itself was exceptionally comfortable with everything we needed for comfort. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and cooking utensils, with a great grill outside — we used it for most meals! The porch was almost with the entire value of the place itself, a perfect spot to sit and relax and enjoy the day. My dog was in LOVE with her surroundings, and we enjoyed many a walk down the long grassy lawn to the water where she swam and laid out in the sun on the dock (plus was put into a kayak successfully for the first time with moderate success!). Monica was an incredible host who has quite literally thought of everything to make the stay perfect. We hope to stay again in the future!

We really enjoyed our time here! The space was just as described and pictured. It was very well appointed. My daughter, couple friends and I enjoyed playing board games that were available. The kitchen was really well equipped as we made a couple dinners while we were there. The location was an easy drive or walk to downtown St. Ignace and the ferry to get to Mackinac Island. Would definitely stay there again when we are in the area again! And thanks for the bottle of Michigan wine. It was a happy surprise after a long day of driving!

I have a wonderful time here celebrating my 30th birthday. Even tho the weather was raining I still had such an amazing time, it was so peaceful and relaxing! It literally felt like I was home

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

Easily my all time favorite place. I have stayed here twice over the last two years, and can’t wait to return again. Everything is guaranteed to exceed expectations. I have brought my friends and family here, and it never disappoints! A week never feels like enough. There is so much to do without even leaving the Airbnb. You’ll have everything you need for a perfect getaway. Kelsey, the host, goes above and beyond to ensure a 5-star experience!

This place was so nice and relaxing! One thing that we were happy about is that they welcomed dogs! We have 2, 9 month old mini poodles and this was their first adventure so having a host that accepts pets was #1 on our list. This place is way better than the pictures! We felt right at home and we loved watching the boats go by on the river! The beds were so comfy and made for an even better relaxing time. I highly recommend this place. It is very private and quiet! We saw lots of different types of birds, including a couple eagles. We knew a beaver was close by but never got to see him, only his handy work. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back in the future! Thank you Donald, we soooo enjoyed your place!

It is exactly what the description says it is. The hot tub was great, after a long day of wandering around Bel Air, Traverse City, and Charlevoix.

Great place & great hosts! Our family had a nice weekend in such a convenient location!! If in the area, we would love to stay again.

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole

Loved this place for our girls weekend. The stairs were narrow but knew this before we booked. Place was clean and had some nice extras …. Hammock and hot tub was used often. Katie was a wonderful host. We did not have any problem so the there was little contact. Blinds on the entry door would be a nice thing to add. Would recommend! 5 stars for this beautiful little A Frame.

We absolutely love staying here! The house is very clean and has all of the amenities of home. The beach is beautiful and you can’t beat the sunrises! This was our second time staying here and we’ll be back next year!

Beautiful view of the water! Close to many good restaurants & shops. This room is connected to an inn, and the large, shared deck is connected to the bedroom and living room. There could be noise from other guests while you are there. The entrance is next to the lobby with the vending machine, so again- the other guests will be nearby. We enjoyed exploring the area… beautiful location!

The bonfire at this house is truly amazing! In the early morning, you'll be gently awakened by the pleasant sound of wind chimes. The room's décor has a cozy cabin feel to it. It’s definitely spacious enough for five people, and we stayed here very comfortably.

This was our second time here! The first Airbnb in 15 yrs where we’ve booked a second time ! The location on the beach is amazing. Just steps out the door and even in high season last year there were hardly any people, and in the low season this year we almost had it to ourselves. The cabin is warm and cozy and has all the basic necessities. The main house is in front of the cabin, blocking most of the view, but for the price and everything else, it’s worth it.

Wow, what a comfortable beautiful home. We had such a wonderful time. Everything was exactly as described. The location was wonderful, easy access to the stores, we also enjoyed walking to the flower shop home down the road. The only thing we would change is the stair going from the kitchen to the back area of the house. My ladies suggested putting some sort of light on the bottom of that step or near it. We had an older group of ladies, this stair caused a few trips. Just a thought. We look forward to coming back again. Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home.

For us, it was a great place to stay, just past the busy area. But close to the highway so that we could go explore further north. We were there for a relaxing weekend and definitely suited our needs. Keith was very helpful and responsive and gave some good input on things to do. Would love to visit again

We had a wonderful time during our stay. Michael was an excellent host and was very responsive and considerate. We loved the cabin and it had so many great details it just felt like a home when we walked in. It’s only 10 min away from the ferry to get to Mackinac Island and it’s right next to Carp Lake which is a beautiful view. We definitely recommend anyone looking for an Airbnb to stay in this Cabin you will not be disappointed.
