Vacation rentals with a fireplace in St-Genis-Laval

Perfect weekend at Sylvie's place to stay. The house is beautiful , spacious , very clean. The bedding is lovely. Everything was perfectly ready when we arrived. The inner courtyard is very convenient to enjoy serenely with the kids. We thank Sylvie for this stay and highly recommend the place! We will be back!

Chrystel and Pierre are very welcoming hosts🤗. Their house is carefully decorated and the atmosphere is very cozy. Everything is there for a great stay and the hosts take the time to show us their home and all the amenities and distractions offered. The only difficulty is to leave 🙁

absolutely a hidden gem in the city! Situated in a quiet neighborhood up on the Fourviere, truly the place to be if you love to live like a local! Quiet, but not remote. Bus stop only 5mins walk away with several bus routes get you right to the city centre with literally 10mins of travel time. A small community high street nearby also offers all the groceries you need for your stay. P.s. the best bakery shop is also here! The property is a dream house for anyone that loves a good quality of living! Top quality amenities, kitchen appliances (Miele, Liebherr) you name it! Clean and tidy, yet warm and welcoming! We even enjoyed the Christmas decorations set by Sam and Louis! It is truly a home away from home! Sam and Louis were extremely friendly and helpful! the check-in was super smooth. We enjoyed visiting the places suggested by Sam and certainly the freshly laid eggs from the hen! Will definitely stay again!

Really comfortable house with lots of facilities. The pool was excellent and very clean. Barbecue and bread oven were good options in the garden. Nice sitting out area with fridge and ice maker .Walkable to two shopping areas with everything needed Including a good Sunday food market in Genas We managed without a car . Trip into the centre of Lyon took an hour via bus,tram and metro. The airport is only 10 minutes by taxi. Four double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms/ showers We were 5 adults and one child , ideal for 4 couples. Dining areas in kitchen , in the living area and also outside so lots of options. It is a family home but plenty of space for visitors belongings. Would highly recommend. Quite area , fields behind the house which give it a country feel despite the handiness of “town “shopping and transport links

We found a very comfortable accommodation, very clean and very well furnished. Both bathrooms are a plus. The environment is quiet, relaxing and located in the center of a beautiful property of organic vegetable crops. The icing on the cake: Marie José, a very welcoming and pleasant host who knows how to be discreet. He is a passionate and exciting person who loves his job, his land and people. We would recommend it without hesitation. We will be back.

We spent a night with the family , Kevin received us super well, everything was fine and comfortable , we lacked nothing. Peaceful surroundings. I would recommend this place 100%

Marines house is truly a gem. It is very large, super equipped and beautifully decorated. The terrace offers a great view and the pool and jacuzzi provide relaxation. Marine was always available, friendly and gave us valuable hints. We had a wonderful week in Yzeron and can 100% recommend Marine and her house.

We had a stay of a few days with family. Well-maintained house, quality bedding. Stéphane was very available, responsive and friendly. We recommend it!

Perfect for our stay- really close to the stadium.

The apartment is a little quirky but feels very French, like you’re staying in someone’s home. The view is absolutely stunning! The bed and linens are very comfortable and we slept well. The location is very walkable and there are plenty of great restaurants, groceries and pharmacies nearby. A great jazz club, Hot Club Jazz Lyon, is literally behind the apartment. Just be aware that sleeping with the window open, needed while we were there over Easter weekend, can be very noisy with partying youngsters and very loud cars and motorcycles. Earplugs helped. We had a wonderful time in Lyon and highly recommend the apartment if you’re looking for an authentic experience.

A spacious and charming place to stay in the heart of Vieux Lyon. Easy walking to all the main sites to see and to work off the gourmet treats served at the Bouchons. Odile is a very thoughtful host..Everything you needed was there including utensils and crockery, great cooking facilities, Espresso and smart TV etc. The bed was very comfortable and the place very clean. Highly recommended

Why you should go: -The availability and kindness of Thierry and Choi. -The accommodation is superbly decorated and very well-equipped. - The ideal location for visiting the center of Lyon. Everything can be done on foot. - Multitude of restaurants and bars nearby. - Super comfortable bedding. Things to keep in mind. - no possibility of accessing the accommodation by car, the entrance is in a street staircase, with a 50 in steps. So if you're in a wheelchair or crutches it would be difficult. - the narrow streets give a certain charm but also imply fairly dark accommodation. This is an advantage in summer to keep it cool. We had a lovely time there.

Great spot in Lyon. Was in town for one night and needed someplace simple and comfortable. Good location near the station and great communication from Tim.

Corinne's apartment is well located, close to the city center while being in a nice and very quiet area. You have to climb a little but you knew it, and it was worth it. Once or twice we took the bus to get back up, it passes regularly and it's very convenient. Everything was very clean, the beds super comfortable, and we enjoyed the two bathrooms (the downstairs shower is super nice!). Lots of space to relax in the lounge/dining area. Corinne was a great host and we wish we could have spent more time with her. Next time, we get a cork together! Thank you for everything Corinne.

We loved staying in Helene’s place. The space itself is big and beautiful, location in centre of Ecully, just outside Lyon. Very easy to get into the city by bus or taxi or Ecully has some lovely places to visit. It’s better than the photos, fully equipped kitchen and really lovely heated pool with sun beds and a beautiful garden. To top it off Helene is an incredible host, probably the best I’ve ever met on Airbnb. Thank you so much Helene, you made our trip so easy and you were so kind and generous. We love your home!

Very nice house totally suitable for infants, beautiful secure pool, quiet environment, beautiful view, toys in abundance, well-equipped kitchen. True AirBnB the old-fashioned because the house is inhabited by Arnaud and his family went on vacation for the occasion. Many nice activities nearby: Ardeche train, tree climbing,...

This is an amazing Airbnb! The house, pool and garden are even better than described and are beautiful! The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed using the bbq. The pool area is fantastic - lots of spots to sit either in the sun or shade. Plenty of room in the house with comfortable bedrooms that stayed cool even in the hot weather. Overall, would really recommend the stay and our only wish is that we could have stayed longer!
