The place is exactly as described and we had a wonderful time. The proximity to the lake and mountains is unbeatable. The highway is well hidden behind a noise barrier and hardly disturbs, even the railway line has disturbed us little. In fact, the only real drawback is the street right in front of the house and between the house and the lake. In my opinion, however, this is priced in and only in this way is such a great house in such a location even affordable. Martin gave us great tips for the area and there would have been a lot more to see. I'd love to come back!

Alex place represents how Airbnb originally started - a place in somebody’s home with common areas, shared equipment, and people being considerate with each other. We had a great stay in one of the guest rooms, including a comfy bed, and an extra couch and desk in a small attached room. The squeaking floors of an old farm house and the shared bathroom adds to the charm of the place but is something to be aware of. During our stay Alex was on vacation. A friendly neighbor, the daily cleaning person and Leo, the gentle soul house cat, were watching over everything. Thanks Alex for this unique experience!
