Monthly Rentals in St. David's Island

Our 3rd stay on this beautiful island and we decided to go down the Airbnb route this time. Well, we couldn`t have booked a more peaceful and well positioned apartment, sat right on the edge of St Davids bay with stunning views. The apartment was everything we could have asked for, and our host Jayne was amazing. From the minute we booked to the moment we left, she was the perfect host. She went out of her way to assist us, including taking us to pick up our little electric hire car, organising a lift to the airport and allowing us to stay an additional 3 nights when our flight was cancelled because of the fire at Heathrow. She was full of useful information and advice and always there if required. We had an a mazing extended stay and Jaynes contribution went a long way to this. Would go back and stay at Pepper tree cottage in a heartbeat and can not recommend it enough for anyone considering visiting the best place in the world. Until the next time.

Our first time in Bermuda and we had a marvelous time. So much to see and do and the bus system wasnt hard to figure out. James' place being not far from the airport made arrival and departure easy. Mid march to end of march the temp has been 20-23 C and the swimming and snorkeling fantastic. (Dont miss Tobacco Bay, behind the big rocks for corals and a multitude of fish.) Had the beaches to ourselves most days. Remember to say Good morning/afternoon to the bus drivers when you get on and thank you when you get off, to be considered polite!

We loved this special place where we spent three very enjoyable weeks exploring the beautiful islands that make up Bermuda. The hosts went beyond our expectations to pick us up at the airport and take us to buy groceries and our bus pass. The accommodation had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen where we cooked most of our meals. The living area was spacious with a comfortable sofa and small table. The unit had patio doors facing east to see the sunrise every day from the small patio. For the nature lover it’s an ideal location to enjoy bird songs and attractive landscaping in a peaceful area with a great view. All this is only a short walk from Grotto Bay, the Caves, the Swizzle Inn, Bailey’s Ice Cream and three bus routes to go further afield. I hope we will be able to return one day.
