Farmhouse Cottage | Centrally Located + Streetcars

KatieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was my first time in New Orleans, hopefully not my last. Staying at this property makes the decision to come back easy. Great restaurant recommendations, easy access to the street car, safe, clean with excellent communication with the host. If I have the opportunity to come back, I’ll definitely stay here again!

This is a great location and will stay again. The location is around the block from a st. Charles street car line stop making getting around easy. The host is very responsive for any issues that might occur. The place is very quiet and parking was never an issue. We will stay there again if in the area. Great for a couples getaway.

Vincent’s Hideaway

GreerRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and it was just perfect, such a beautiful oasis in the city. Loved the tall windows overlooking gardens and their fabulous pool. Gorgeous high ceilings and artsy feel to the studio not to mention comfy & stylish chairs to relax in inside as well as a very comfy bed. Loved the porch with rocking chairs and pool loungers too (did some reading outside in these and it was lovely). Tamarin and Steve have a wonderful dog, Bodhi, who was just a pleasure to meet, clearly a kind and old soul & very friendly & quite happy for a good pat. They provided delicious coffee (or tea), cream, yogurt and homemade granola, a delight to have in the morning overlooking the gardens and pool. They were friendly and responsive, perfect hosts! Thanks again!

Balcony Suite on Tchoupitoulas by Convention Centr

CorrynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a charming, beautiful beautiful building with soul and history, a romantic and unique-to-New-Orleans 'Streetcar Named Desire' style, and is lovingly restored and immaculately cared for. All of the furniture and apartment accoutrements are high quality and tasteful, a swoon-worthy mix of vintage and modern. Neil went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our short stay. The immediate area is slightly industrial, and there was loud machinery noise early on a Saturday morning (bring ear plugs if you plan on sleeping in) but it's just a short and peaceful walk to Magazine Street and the Garden District (highlights were the gumbo at Gris-Gris & Century Girl vintage.) Note that if you are sharing this small space that the bathroom wall design does not fully enclose the area, making the upstairs suite best suited to solo travelers or well-established couples. Quirky, magical and authentic, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here on again future visits to the city.

Cozy Cottage near Audubon Park and Superdome

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Susan’s place. The location was perfect for visiting our daughter at Tulane. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and very walkable. We arrived late and Susan left lights on for us so we could get in easily. The place itself was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee outside on the patio with the beautiful flowers.

Chic Luxury Bourbon St w/ Balcony King & Queen Bed

YasaminRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay and we're surprised to find out we were on a parade route! Our host was wonderful and very thoughtful. For being directly on Burbon st, you really can't hear much in the rooms. We had a jazz busker below our balcony most of our stay. He was very talented and we loved having his music in the background of our stay. I would absolutely recommend this listing!

Old Mandeville Guesthouse on Claiborne

GaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a fantastic host Vincent and his family were. They looked after us with great advice for restaurants, things to do and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and at home. They were incredibly friendly. The guesthouse had everything you could need - a great coffee machine, fridge freezer and washing machine and dryer (very useful half way round a road trip). However, it was the little additions that made this a fantastic stay. Cool bag and ice blocks; toaster; three bikes, rocking chair; pint of milk in the fridge on arrival etc. Vincent had thought of everything. The neighbourhood was very safe and interesting and within two minutes you could be at the lake with spectacular views across to the causeway. We watched an amazing sunset one night and had an outstanding pizza recommended by Vincent within a five minute walk of the guesthouse. The oldest jazz club in the world, where Louis Armstrong once played, was short walk away. Thanks for a great stay.

Just steps to both Frenchman St & French Quarter!

OfferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location is great - easy walking to French Quarter, Bywater, right next to Frenchman St. Ton of everything you need right nearby, but still very quiet and peaceful. Place itself is comfortable and charming. Many nice little touches of tasteful but joyful mardi gras decor. High quality and plentiful towels - soap, shampoo, coffee, tea etc. if you forget to bring any. A wonderful place!

Bask in the Tranquil Courtyard of Bywater Guest House

LindseyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was the perfect spot for us to stay while we explored the city and celebrated my husbands upcoming birthday. We were able to easily navigate to the bus stop and utilize public transportation while we got the lay of the land. And being just outside the downtown area it was easier to navigate and unwind away from the masses of people. Overall it was a quiet hub (except during bar hours) where we could unwind between events and not too far from everything we wanted to see and do. The recommendations were excellent and we put many to the test. Thank you for letting us enjoy your space while we were there!

Michael’s place is one of the nicest Air B and B’s we’ve ever stayed in. Wonderful location in a beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood. Walkable to shops and restaurants and easy Ubers downtown. The place is clean, quiet, comfortable. The small pool and backyard feels like a spa. It is so relaxing with a beautiful old tree overhead. We loved everything about it and hope to stay there again one day.

Clean, Family-Friendly Pad near Quarter / Jazzfest

KenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was an apartment in a beautiful residential area of New Orleans that was a short drive to the French Quarter and all other neighborhoods you would want to visit. The city park is a short walk with the Art Museum and a wonderful outdoor sculpture garden. Although we were warned of parking issues we were able to park a short distance from all the events we attended including Frenchman's Street clubs. Esplanade Street had groceries, restaurants and a coffee shop right outside your front door. Jason responded to a few requests promptly. While comfortable with more than all the necessary amenities be aware that this is a converted garage with some exposed concrete floors. All the modern kitchen appliances and the record player were a plus. We always found parking right outside the apartment.
