Our idyllic cottage from 1730 is located in the middle of the old village center of Wilkenburg (Hemmingen), surrounded by a nature reserve. A breathtaking swimming lake (100 m) and many paths into nature are just a stone's throw away. The city center of Hanover, the Maschsee and the Hanover trade fair can be reached in a 5-10 minute drive. Shopping and restaurants are in and around Bockenem. The Harz and the Weserbergland invite you to hike and cycle. Motorcyclists will also get their money's worth here. We ourselves ride motorcycles and are happy to assist you with tour questions.

Circus wagon on the alpaca pasture - pure relaxation!

At Alpakahof Strange, we live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848. The Lower Saxony hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of a long-gone rural tradition. In the pasture behind the farmhouse stands the spacious circus wagon. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, who graze and rest there during the day. Pure relaxation!
